2007 Pontiac G6 - My Pontiac has stood the test of time. Provided reliable transportation since its purchase.
My 2007 Pontiac was purchased used with about 46,000 miles already on the car. What instantly attracted me to the car was its black color and the sleek design of the car. Additionally, the four-door sedan, while spacious interior wise, was compact to the degree that I would have no issue parking in tight spots here in the DC Metro area.
Story
I remember when I purchased my car, I drove it to work. All my co-workers were so eager to drive in it with me, so during my lunch break, we drove around the general area near my job just to test out my "new car."
Pros
The top aspects of the car are its color and design. I love the room the truck provides for groceries. I love the "grill" of the car. While this is only the second car that I've ever had, I notice the heating system is outstanding. During the weather, after a short period of time, I'm instantly warmed up in no time.
Cons
I purchased this vehicle from a used-car dealership, so it had 48,000 miles already on the car. Additionally, the driver's side taillight was slight chipped, and there were dents on the hood of the car and in various places all around the car. Also, while the car has been fairly reliable since I've purchased the car, there have been various part recalls that I've received via mail which required me having to take my car in to be serviced.
2011 Pontiac G6 - Always reliable.
No matter what the weather my Pontiac was able to fend off snow, rain sleet and heat. The tires lasted longer than the tires of my previous vehicles. The paint also never chipped of scratched and if I got a ding in the body it was easy to hammer out. The one thing I dislike are the seats. The seats aren't build for a long ride and they can become uncomfortable during prolonged trips.
Story
One time at the grocery store a run away cart hit my car. They person who own the car apologized and said they'd pay for the damage. There wasn't any damage and I told her everything is fine. She took a pack of cookie out of her bag and offered them to me but I told her not to worry about it.
Pros
Durability.
Cons
The seats.
