My Pontiac G6 has been a very reliable vehicle for my husband and me. Personally, I have the loaded model with heated leather seats, and a panoramic roof. I have owned this car since 2011, and have no intention of trading it back in or selling it once I am finished making payments. This is a car that I will definitely continue to use until it no longer runs. The car runs smoothly and I have had to perform the very bare minimum maintenance tasks. I have driven this car during the harshest Western New York winters, to the sunny and humid summers in Virginia -- it handles great in both environments; I always feel safe in this car. I really enjoy that despite GM going out of business, my car is still easily worked with by mechanics in the garage, should I even inquire about additional part... (more)
Story
Despite being a sedan, I enjoy taking my dog for rides in this vehicle, especially to the beach.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are that it runs with minimal maintenance needed, I feel safe in the vehicle, and it has decent gas mileage despite being a V6. My favorite features of this vehicle are the heated leather seats and the panoramic roof.
Cons
The top negative things about this vehicle include malfunctions with the panoramic roof, and occasionally a rotor goes bad on the front left side.

The Pontiac G6 was an alright vehicle when it came to day to day use, traveling to and from work, the occasional trip, or transporting the dog to the vet (plenty of room in the back seat for when he starts to panic, realizing where we are going). But when it came to heavy use of the vehicle, the GA really started to fall apart in the harsher climate changes of central United States.
Story
Driving to Minneapolis in the summertime with all the windows down, blasting music on the way to a concert.
Pros
My favorite part of the G6 was the comfortable and stylish interior. For a 2006 vehicle it felt like I was driving a brand new car every day. It had plenty of room to haul belongings when traveling, including my dog. The G6 also has an excellent sound system, which is fantastic for long car rides, and the electronic component never wore even after 200000 miles.
Cons
The one thing I did not enjoy about the Pontiac G6 were the numerous recalls I started receiving as soon as I registered my vehicle. This caused me to go out of my way to repair a lot of parts. The G6 was not a fan of harsh winters as well, as the weight of the vehicle made it slide around in snow, causing some damages if you didn't know how to handle it well.
