The Oldsmobile Intrigue is comfortable to ride in and easy to drive. The interior is spacious and suitable for a family or a couple. The trunk is also very spacious and can hold groceries, portable work-out equipment, and some sporting equipment. However the car is not reliable mechanically, most likely due to its old age. Visually, the car is somewhat attractive. Although it does not have a modern appearance or interior, the appearance is not completely disappointing.

We drove the car to mountains for a camping trip. the road got a little rough but we thought it turned out ok. When the trip was over (about 3 days later) and we had everything packed and loaded into the car, we noticed we had a flat tire. Pros
The interior is spacious and comfortable. There are leather seats for driver, passenger, and back seat. All of the seats are slightly larger than average so it would be ideal for a good road trip. There is ample foot room and the seats are very comfortable. The options are all electric so passenger and driver have control over their own windows and heating/AC options. There is ample room in the trunk for camping gear, luggage, moving supplies, groceries, etc. The car is easy to drive and handles well on the road. Cons
The age of the car has caused me to replace many parts over the two years of owning it. This includes transmission, water filter, and thermostat among others. There seem to be many electric shorts, for example a short in the drivers side window led to a short in the blinker light and the drivers side head light. The Oldsmobile is larger than other cars to fuel economy is not the best. Also, it seems to be designed with mostly the driver in mind when it comes to comfort while riding. There are no drink holders for passengers.

My vehicle has worked very well ever since I bought it two and a half years ago. It runs very smoothly and I enjoy driving it. It had not had many problems except that I had to change the water pump and serpentine belt. Neither of those two things cost a lot of money and it was an easy fix. My car had pretty good gas mileage for an older car. I never feel that it will not run or something may break at any time. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone. Oldsmobile is not made any more, but if someone has a chance to buy it, they should. It is not the best looking car in the world, but reliability matters to me a whole lot more than what it looks like. Story
The car has taken my husband and I everywhere we have needed to go for the past two and a half years and it has been a great car!
Pros
The top positive things that I love about my car are the reliability, easy to maintain, and great gas mileage.
Cons
The negative things about the car are that since Oldsmobile is not made anymore it may be harder to find parts even though I have not run into that problem yet. Also, it does not have any new accessories in it like the new cars on the market right now. It even has a cassette player! So, if you are not interested in having old technology in your car, then this is not the car for you. I, personally, do not care. I wish it did have more accessories, but reliability takes precedence over all of that for me.

My Oldsmobile is great! It is a reliable vehicle and has lasted me for years. It is safe and has great crash test results. It has every feature you could want in a car, including power windows, power locks, CD player, and AM, FM radio, which is important to me because I love music in my car. The speakers are Bose and sound amazing after all of this time. The ride is smooth, tires wear great, and the steering is flawless. Everything mechanically has been sound and nothing big has happened to the car. It has five seats and can sit five very comfortably. There is leg room in the back and front and the seats can move electrically. Plus you can move the seats up or down, but only in the front.
