2004 Oldsmobile Alero - Good for a first car, but isn't built to last

I received this car when I was 16. It was red and definitely didn't look like an "old lady" car. Had a decent amount of space and was easy to learn how to drive. I still have this car, all these years later. In a way, it's been very dependable, but around a year or two ago it started falling apart at random. I have a feeling I'm going to need to be buying another one in a year or so.
Story
My bumper got almost completely ripped off by a guy in a parking lot, and I was at a friend's house and his brother's friend backed into the front of my car and actually pushed my bumper back into place a little more. It was kind of funny.
Pros
This car looks good when it's new. It's not hard to figure out the ins and out s of the feel of driving the car. It doesn't have overly sensitive breaks, which I hate in cars. It didn't cost that much and didn't have that many miles on it. It has a pretty decent amount of trunk space.
Cons
When I lived with my parents, my car sat in the garage, hardly ever exposed to the elements for long periods of time. When I moved away from home, however, I lived in an apartment complex where my car was parked outside all the time, and I moved there in the winter. That's what started my car falling apart left and right. I've had to replace a new battery solely from it being cold, my strut went out which was determined to be a factory defect, my electric window on the rear right side doesn't work, I've had to fix my windshield wiper system and it stopped working again, certain areas are p... This is honestly the best car that I have ever purchased. Its very reliable haven't really had to many issues with it. Nothing major, just some minor things that are normal. Couldn't have asked to find a better car. Its perfect for our family.
Story
Went on vacation with the kids and had a blast
Pros
It gets us from point a to point b. It has a good stereo system in it. Its easy on gas. Very low mileage when we got the car and still is pretty low for the year of the car. Looks awesome with a custom paint job and custom body kit on the car. Its easy on the tires as well. If by chance you did break down the car is very easy to push if you would need to move it. A lot of stuff on the car is easy to repair and there are a majority of stuff that is easy to fix
Cons
Not much space especially when you are almost 7 feet tall. Not much trunk space. Some parts are really expensive for the car. Oldsmobile went out of business so now some places wont even carry the parts for the car. There isn't much space around the engine so when you have to work on the engine its kind of hard reach for stuff because the lack of space.

1999 Oldsmobile Alero - Satisfied with performance but have had better.

Purchased car in the beginning because of its comfort and size and gas mileage, but after 100,000 miles, it feels less comfortable and the gas mileage has decreased. Size is still okay, and we like the two doors, but friends and family do not. They hate when getting in and out of back seat. The major plus is that there are so many around. Parts are easy to find at cheap rates.
Story
During a period of a few months, I was having trouble starting the car whenever one particular person needed a ride. She named her "Sally" and when this person got out of car. Sally would start, when the person got in, Sally would not. When that happened, my wife could reach over and turn the key and Sally would start. It became a saying that if Sally had a problem, it must mean so-and-so was ... (more)
Pros
I liked the performance from a small engine, and I like the leather interior. It makes it look like a more expensive car.
Cons
Easy to repair, but the problem is that it needs so many repairs. I know it is a used car, but I have seen older cars with less. It seems like I am always having to fix something to keep it running and the worse idea from GM. No dip stick for transmission fluid. I have to remove air cleaner and other parts just to get to refill hole for transmission. I was told that if I wanted to know the level of trans fluid, stick my finger in the hole.
