2012 Nissan Versa -
What I like about the car is its good on gas, it drives well and its comfortable.
Story
Took my first road trip in this car, went to my first wedding, and had my first drive in date at the movies.
Pros
Good gas mileage, it's comfortable, it drives smoothly nice white color jet black inside.
Cons
Small, doesn't come with a good sound system, and gas light comes on all time.
2009 Nissan Versa - like it 95%
Since I am 5 foot 1 inch tall most cars have a seat pan too long for me. This car fits. I can reach the pedals without the seat cutting off circulation at the back of my legs. I can reach the pedals without the steering wheel touching my stomach. I can see over the dashboard.
There are virtually no blind spots with this car. I like that. The car gets great mileage, is cherry red and looks cute in parking lots. The heating and air conditioning are excellent. There is a warning light to tell me when the air in my tires is low. Very helpful.
Everything about this car is intuitive. I'm not really a car fancier so being able to do things without studying a manual is important to me. However the zippered car manual is easy to understand, stays in good condition, and has answered my questions.
Story
I wish I had a fun story too personal to share here. I once owned a Fiero and it was easier to have fun personal stories in it than this car.
They really should do something about that ledge created when the back seats are folded down.
Pros
My very favorite thing I started with in the first box, it fits short people. This is tremendously important for both comfort and safety. I like the design, it doesn't look like every single other car in the lot. I can find it easily. It is economical on gas. I don't drive much, one tank of gas lasts all month.
The upholstery is easy to clean. I took care of my 92 year old mom who had dementia. She pooped on the seat. It cleaned right off.
The manual is easy to understand and is distinctive in look so I can find it. I don't keep it in the car though.
I love the warning light about the t... (more)
Cons
I don't like the design of the storage area. Although this is a hatchback, station wagon car, it is designed to hold less than a car with a trunk. Very bad. You open the rear door and you have a tiny space before the back of the rear seats to put stuff. If you put the seats down, you have a raised platform blocking the way of anything you want to stash there. If I bought a recliner chair I'd have to put it on the roof, it wouldn't fit in the car. In fact most large things I buy I'd have to pay to be delivered, they won't fit in the car. There is no place to sleep in this car. I can't put t... (more)
