2010 Nissan Versa - My trusted car
This car had been with me for almost nine years now and has never let me down. I live in California, and now the weather is not as extreme. The car is there for me, and the only costs related to it is the regular maintenance and gas.
Story
The time I loaded a whole set of boxes full of books. There were around 400 boxes.
Pros
The size is perfect for me. The versatility of the seats and the space for five or less passengers is ideal for everyday use and also for cargo from small items to big ones, like a bookcase. I can easy clean it or repair most of the small problems associated with this car by myself. I just order the parts online and change them with an easy turnover.
Cons
For me, maybe the fact that it is not an electric car or hybrid. However, I know this is not something that comes with this specific model. Over the years, as is normal, the fuel efficiency is worse than when the car was new, but it is still pretty good compared to many car in the market today.
2011 Nissan Versa - Most economical car I've owned
Overall I like it and it's served me well. It is a black hatchback, which is sportier looking than the sedan (I definitely prefer this version!). It's also compact and very easy to drive and park.
Story
A memorable story I have with this car is having moved houses and being able to fit most of my stuff in it! As mentioned before, it has a lot of interior space when the back seats are put down, and I was able to fit several pieces of furniture and most of my clothes, which says a lot.
Pros
My favorite features of the vehicle are 1) the fuel efficiency: I live in Los Angeles and filling up the tank costs about $20, which lasts me about a week commuting 30 miles every day. I've never had a car that was that efficient; and 2) how roomy the interior is: you would never know from looking at it from the outside just how much space there is inside, especially when you put the back seats down.
Cons
The biggest cons of this car are the aesthetic and the fact that it gets dirty very easily. The engine also lacks power.
