2007 Nissan Versa - A sturdy car
I got my Versa hatchback as a 16th birthday present. It was brand new with less than 50 miles on it. It had a spoiler/fin on the back which made it look not as goofy as the other versions of this car.
Story
This vehicle got me through all of highschool and college. Have about 85,000 miles on it. Very well-built car. Good for a first car.
Pros
Vehicle is very sturdy. I'm admittedly very lax on my car maintenance and I've never had to make any major repairs. I've also been rear-ended my a much larger car and had no damage to my rear-bumper. I have had to have some exterior/interior parts replaced due to y own usage, but those parts were quite cheap compared to other cars.
Cons
Two cons: The first is that the windows sound like they are rolled down when driving >50mph. I don't think they seal up all the way. The second is that the front bumper is very low. Scraping it on things is unavoidable. It is plastic though so replacing it/popping it back in is fairly cheap/easy.
2017 Nissan Versa - Spectacular Versa.
This car is amazing. It runs smoothly, gets great gas mileage, was affordable, and has minimal blind spots. It is surprisingly roomy for a small car so I never feel claustrophobic when I am in it. I could drive this car into the ground, it's great.
Story
It came to me at a time when I had no car at all and was walking everywhere I needed to go. It was a true blessing.
