2014 Nissan Versa - Economic family car.
The Nissan Versa has been a good economic car if you have a family. The backseat and truck are both roomy and this car can hold up to 5 people. After 45k miles, the car and its component still hold up quite well and has a durable interior.

Pros
The car has a great radio and speaker system for optimal sound. The air conditioner actually runs quite cold and the car has several features such as cruise control and meters that light up enough to see well at night. The headlights are not too bright to blind other drivers and one of the backseats actually lets down to give you more trunk storage. The 35 mpg on highways has saved me so much money.
Cons
I had a radiator leak after 3 years of ownership and didn't know what the mildew smell was coming from until after I had noticed the passenger floorboard was wet. The air conditioner doesn't start to blow cool air on hot days until you actually start to drive the car and it's horrible when you're stuck in traffic after work and the AC is still blowing hot air because the car is not moving.
2014 Nissan Versa -
The Versa is much roomier on the inside than expected, based on its compact size. For this reason, a friend has referred to this model of car as "the TARDIS". The gas mileage is great, and it is a reliable vehicle... as long as you replace the batteries in the key fob when necessary.
Story
This car is my daily driver, so my husband, who is quite tall, does not drive it much. When he does drive it, he enjoys the fact that he does not feel crunched in such a compact car. Once, on a business trip, a mechanical fire in the airplane caused his flight to be cancelled and he was forced to rent a car to drive to his destination in the next state instead. Pros
The fuel economy is the best part of this vehicle. Its compact size is a plus for those who want a smaller car, but it is still roomy on the inside and even in the trunk. It runs much quieter than other compact cars I have owned in the past, and its design is much more attractive and sensible.
Cons
Because it is a small car, it is difficult to fit car seats for children in it. Also, it has a transmission that sometimes causes vibration when shifting into gear from a stop (the transmission is automatic). The electronic key fob is nice, but it can be problematic when the battery in it runs out. Unlocking the car is not a problem, as there is a valet key built into the key fob, but starting the car is impossible.
