2014 Nissan Versa Note - Great little compact hatchback!
I bought the car in the red brick color, with wheat interior. I would not recommend the light interior if you have small kids, because it shows everything. That's my only complaint about the car. The interior is simple, but effective. Seats are comfortable. The CVT and 1.6L 4 cylinder engine is zippy enough. I mean you're not going to win any races with it, but you can get on the interstate without getting ran over, and can easily pass slow drivers on two lane roads.
Story
We took the car on a trip to a neighboring state. We'd checked the weather beforehand, and it was supposed to be clear, but while we were there a cold front came through and it started snowing. We had to travel 300 miles home on a snowy interstate! The normally six hour trip took about nine hours!
Pros
The car is super comfortable! I average about 40 mpg on state highways, and 42 mpg on the interstate. The car looks great and drives even better. It looks tiny on the outside but feels much bigger inside. And even though it doesn't look like there's any cargo space behind the back seat, you can actually fit quite a bit back there! It's super easy to install car seats in the back seat, and there is plenty of room in the front seat, even with the biggest rear facing seats in the back.
Cons
I don't like the light colored interior in my car. Also I had gotten used to having an auto-darkening rearview mirror in my previous car, and I wish I had that in this car.
