2014 Nissan Versa - Quality vehicle for basic needs
I enjoy the large feel for such a small car. My 2014 Nissan Versa feels as if I have a nice ride height. I do not feel as if I am scooting on the ground, and I have ample leg room. The leg room compares to the leg room normally found in a mid-size car. The 2014 Versa provides ample power and acceptable features for basic needs. The 2014 Versa is the right car for anyone who needs a dependable car for transportation.

I made the mistake of not replacing my dog liner in the back seat after I washed the liner. I thought the blanket I had would help keep the seat clean, and it did. However, my dog got bored, and I heard a popping noise. I looked back at my dog just about the time he popped the safety button off the back seat, the one that shows how to strap in a child. However, my dog got bored, and I heard a popping noise. I looked back at my dog just about the time he popped the safety button off the back seat, the one that shows how to strap in a child. Fortunately, I caught him as he popped only one out. Unfortunately, for me, these buttons are seared into the material at the factory, and it cost me approximately $125 for an upholstery shop to patch the seat covering. The patch job looks terrible, and I remember now to never forget to transport my dog with the dog liner.
The layout of the interior is a generous layout in terms of leg room for front seat and back seat and in terms of storage capacity for drinks and documents. The interior is solid, not flimsy. The exterior keeps its shine and feels solid. The back doors provide wide space for getting in and out of the vehicle. The wide space serves particularly well for transporting large dogs. The back seat is roomy and practical for accommodating dog covers and transporting big dogs that want to stretch out (long and wide) while riding. The material used for the seats in my 2014 Versa provides enough reason for my not wanting another one of these cars. The material feels like (and responds like) double-knit material. The material is comfortable, sturdy, and quite easy to clean when soiled. However, the material attracts hair like a magnet attracts metal. Unfortunately, the hair fails to come off the seat as easily as metal comes off a magnet. In fact, a person may never get all the hair out of any one of the seats with such material coverings. I have found no method or gadget that will remove the hair without my spending hours literally pulling out the hairs with tweezers. The floor mats that come with the vehicle also seem to be of poor quality. The mat on the driver's side of my vehicle looked old and worn after only one month, which would not be so bad if I could buy a single replacement mat at a practical cost. The 2014 Versa seems to have a hard time handling the air conditioner when it runs on high.
2011 Nissan Versa - Perfect for solitary traveling
This car has been great for driving long distances. I travel across several states by car a few times a year, and my belongings not only fit perfectly in the hatchback trunk space, but I have never experienced any engine problems or anything mechanically like that. I don't know much about cars, so to avoid these types of problems is the most important thing for me. The mileage is also very good for long road trips, even when gas prices rise I seem to be getting great mileage for the distances I travel. There is no rattling or creaking while driving, and the brakes are as strong as when I first drove it. Even if they have been replaced in the last year or so, I never felt in danger of failing breaks. The small size is perfect for someone who likes to travel light and slip through traffi... (more)

Even if they have been replaced in the last year or so, I never felt in danger of failing breaks. The small size is perfect for someone who likes to travel light and slip through traffic without feeling like a huge bolder in the road. I can also speed up quickly in order to avoid danger because of the small, lightweight build. The air conditioning has never faltered and always runs quickly, never takes too much time to work itself up. I never feel in danger of this car breaking down.
I used to drive back and forth from Washington, DC and Richmond, VA, and this car made it so easy even in the heavy traffic of this area, and I was never afraid of it breaking down in the middle of a traffic jam.

The best things about this vehicle are the lightweight but super safe build, the mileage, the space in the rear of the car, the impeccable condition of the engine even after driving long distances, and the clean, slick shape.

The white color becomes dirty easily and is easy to scratch, the trunk isn't as big as others when I need to transport a lot of things, or my bike, for example, and there aren't very many features inside on the console.

2009 Nissan Versa - I love this car!
I have had many cars, SUV's, etc, and none have not lasted as long as my Nissan. The car is great on gas and I can easily fit in small parking spaces. I have had very little work done on it and it is still running perfectly. My problem is that it is not fast enough (4 cyl), and it is lighter than average cars which is not good for icy winter icy roads.
I love my Nissan. I will keep my car until its demise and then I will be purchasing a new one right away!

When I first bought this car, I was a film major at college and I had to haul lots of equipment, I was able to fit a 6 cameras with cases, lighting equipment and audio equipment and about a dozen sandbags. My crew was amazed when they started taking the equipment out at how much it held.

The Nissan Versa hatchback is a great little car for someone looking for great gas mileage. I have driven my car from Western, PA to Boston, MA on 1 ¼ tank of gas. My tank holds 10-11 gallons, and it is an 11 hour drive so I was amazed at how well it managed the gasoline.
I have had no problems with my Nissan Versa and the engine runs great as long as you maintain it. It starts up right away, even in the cold weather and it does not take long to heat up.

The suspension system is better than any of the other cars I have ever had. It has lasted through rough country roads, winter roads and rain sodden roads, without a problem.
The interior is small inside but very comfortable. You can fit two adults in the front and 3 adults (or two car seats) in the back.
My engine still runs smoothly and I still have the battery from when it was purchased.
It is a small car and lighter than average, so during the winter you may have to put in extra weight in the back of your trunk for stability on icy roads.
I did have a recall for a part on the car, and Nissan notified me right away. I have never had a problem with the car but I decided to make the appointment to fix it. They replaced the parts at no cost and it runs as beautifully as it did before.
The downside to driving a car like this is that it is 4 cylinder and picks up speed slowly. Driving on surface streets will use up more gas versus driving on the highway.

The rear of the car (trunk) is small, but you can put the seats down and make more space to carry objects. The car is not made to have a hitch if you wanted to haul objects... just not strong enough.
