2007 Nissan Sentra - Reliable with a few kinks
I like the Nissan Sentra's' look and style. It is a roomy car that drives very well. I have put 100,000 miles and it is still going strong. My biggest complaint so far would be that I have had to replace the transmission twice, as the type of transmission was new to the market when I purchased the care. A newer year of this car may not have that same problem. Also for some reason the tire light has always been an issue. Otherwise I have had to do very little maintenance on the car to keep it in tip top shape.
Story
I have had fun with this car in regards to the road trips I have taken to TN with my family. It is a comfortable car that allows for long trips without getting to irritable.
Pros
Pros of the vehicle is that it is a smooth comfortable ride. I have driven this car to TN and back multiple times and have felt very comfortable for the 18 hr plus trip. There is plenty of leg room as well as room to put luggage and any other necessary items. Also I have a newborn child and I feel very safe driving in the car with him.
Cons
There have been a few mechanical issues between the transmission and the tire light. They had to replace the transmission once and the rebuilt transmission they replaced it with also had issues. Thankfully it was still under warranty and I have not had additional issues since then. There is one problem still plaguing the car and that is the tire sensor light. I have replaced tires, replaced the sensor, basically anything I can think of, and it still comes on. So at this point I just basically ignore it. It is more of an annoyance than a real problem.
