2014 Nissan Rogue - The Rogue delivers
The Rogue has been a quality-family, small SUV. With the CRV transmission there is no shift shock. The ride is smooth. The car can handle traffic circles easily. It is easy to pass slower traffic with a quick acceleration. Fuel economy is decent at about 24 mpg. The groceries fit nicely in the back hatch area. Two adults can sit in back comfortably. A six-foot-tall driver has no problem adjusting the seats to be comfortable.
Story
The split-fold down back seats provide enough space to fit a child's bike. Makes for an excellent surprise when your child can sit in the back seat, and you can have the present covered up right next to your child, and they don't even know it's there.
Pros
The price is great for a small SUV. The transmission is smooth, and you never feel it shift gears. The lights on indicator is surprisingly helpful. The headlights angle can be adjusted with an internal knob, if the car is heavily weighted in back.
Cons
Finish inside the cabin is simple and does show dirt easily. Fuel economy could be better during city driving. The long term comfort of the driver's seat might not hold up based on early driving wear.
2008 Nissan Rogue - Solid car and dependable
The Nissan Rogue is a fun car to drive. It has paddle shifters for that sporty feeling. It also has a continuously variable transmission for no shift shock. The car sits four comfortably. There is ample storage in the back. This car has a cover in the back to hide your purchases. The car has the ability to change the level of the head lights. The lower head lights are a nice touch for night travel. There is a light near the rear view mirror that indicates if you have your head lights on. Blue tooth is available. XM radio is also available. A luggage rack on top is great for traveling. The gas mileage is solid around 25 miles per gallon. The fuel is fine with regular unleaded gas, no need for the expensive stuff. The glove box is very deep and can easily hold your car paperwork.
Pros
Transmission is smooth. Storage in back is great for groceries. Side air bags are safe.
Cons
The 4 cylinder engine is not real strong. The original colors available were simple in choice.
