I needed to replace my vehicle and opted for a minivan as we are a family of six and I needed something to drive the whole family around it. I was impressed by my 2007 Dodge Caravan. It has all the space I need for both comfort and storage. It drives well and handles easily. The mpg is just OK, but compared to the positive features, this is workable. The car is well made and I've only had to have minor repairs done and the car has over 80,000 miles on it. It could stand a few more comfort features, but for the price I paid, I'm satisfied. I feel quite safe driving it and that says a lot as I have four children that I drive around all the time. The accelerator and brakes are easy to use and it steers easily. I would not only recommend this vehicle to a friend or family member, I would b... (more)
Story
This vehicle has plenty of memorable stories. This is the vehicle we use each summer when we take a family vacation to Disneyland. It's about an eight hour drive. During this time we talk, listen to Disney music and plan which rides we'll do first. There are lots of fond memories here.
Pros
I was very impressed with the space. We take family vacations and previously, by the time we put everything in the car, everyone was so cramped. With my Dodge Grand Caravan, I have plenty of room for suitcases, travel bags, food and everything else I pack for a vacation. Besides a large trunk, it has a couple of storage areas below, along with a drawer that pulls out. The seats are comfortable to sit in and there is plenty of leg room, so everyone is nice and comfy when we ride in it. It has both front and back vents along with air circulation so the heat and air conditioning are distribut... (more)
Cons
There really aren't many negative things I can say about this vehicle. Probably my biggest con is that it doesn't get as much good gas mileage as I would like, but I do most of my driving around town which lowers it compared to highway driving. It's not particularly stylish, but then again, I wasn't going for style as much as I was going for a good family vehicle. I would have preferred a different color, but when I bought it, it had everything else I was hoping to find. Another con is that there is a bit of a blind spot, but that isn't that uncommon in vehicles. The only other complaint i... (more)

2016 Nissan Rogue - This car is one of the best cars I've ever owned. It has great gas mileage and is very dependable.

The Nissan Rouge I own is my favorite car so far because it has everything I could want. Its back-up camera is great, the night vision on it is very clear, and there are little measurement markings to show you how far away you are from something. You can turn down the brightness of the dash for a day and night settings. The driver seat is wonderful for me because it curves around my body, but I could see how that would be off putting to people who are larger then me. I've driven the car well over 20,000 miles, and the only thing that didn't hold up to my expectations was the speakers: they started to crackle about a month or so after I got the car. The center console is a soft leather and has two compartments, one is small that maybe you could put paper or napkins in and a second compa... (more)
Story
We took the car to the beach, and it was fun because we got to drive out on to the beach, and once we were done, we didn't have to worry about sand getting in the car because it is extremely easy to clean.
Pros
The fact that when the car is unlocked by the key fob, it turns on the interior lights of the car, which is great, that way I can see anything in the car before I open the door. The sliding back seats are amazing, just because they give more leg room. So instead of having to slide the front seats up to give leg room, the backs ones can just move back. There is extra storage in the back. Where the spare tire is they have these little shelves that can either be laid down and make a flat surface or placed in the holders and made into shelves.
Cons
The back-up camera doesn't have anything to wipe it off with if it comes covered by rain. The windshield wipers have a setting where you can adjust the speed, but there is no in between the fastest speed on the adjustable setting and the constant setting. The speakers aren't quite what I had hoped for, although I do listen to my music at a high level the speakers did start to crackle after about a month or so.
