2009 Nissan Rogue - Basic, budget SUV.
The 2009 Nissan Rogue has been a good car for me overall, but again with Nissan, I have had the transmission fail. Besides having the transmission go out (and replaced for free under warranty by Nissan), this car has been relatively low maintenance. The power is underwhelming on steep hills, and the engine revs rather loudly, but it totally gets me where I want to go. The black cloth interior has held up well, with only light fading from sun wear. The interior is comfortable, and there is plenty of backseat leg room. There are some rattling noises when being driven on bumpy roads. Also, I wish there was a lighted mirror in the sun visor and a light in the back hatch, as it's rather dim back there at night with only the center bulb to illuminate. Story
It's a good car to take the dog to the beach in! It's big enough to throw all your stuff in the back and easy to clean.
Pros
Comfortable, plenty of leg room, back seats can be folded down, nice looking design.
Cons
Transmission failure, engine revs loudly when working hard, lack of lighting in back hatch section, underwhelming power.
2016 Nissan Rogue - The Rogue is Nissan’s second smallest four-door SUV slotting above the Juke but below the Murano, Pathfinder, and the full-size Armada.
Nissan gave the Rogue an extensive mid-cycle refresh that includes new front and rear fascias, V-motion grille, revised rear combination lights with LED boomerang taillights, motion-activated liftgate, redesigned front center console, new D-shaped steering wheel, new Platinum packages, and a host of new advanced safety features.
Most importantly is the introduction of the new electrified powertrain found in the all-new Rogue Hybrid.
Relying on good looks will only get you so far, but for the Rogue that may be okay. Attractive inside and out, it has comfy seats, nice materials, and many connectivity features. Regrettably, the Rogue suffers from vague steering and body roll. Safety options are intelligent cruise control and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
Story
Nissan's Rogue Dogue comes equipped with a ramp to the trunk and a special dog-bathing system.my dog love to play.
Pros
Best-in-class front seat comfort. Ride quality remains comfortable over varying terrain. User-friendly tech options. Versatile cargo storage.
Cons
Weak acceleration. Poor visibility. Transmission is slow to respond. Advanced safety features are only available on top trim level.
