2015 Nissan Rogue - Nissan Rogue lover
I absolutely love my Rogue SL. Some of my favorite things are the 360-degree camera (I'm addicted to parking perfectly), great gas mileage, plenty of space in the trunk, nice heated seats and a great navigation system. I think it handles great and seems smooth when driving it. I got used to driving it right away, unlike some cars where the brakes or steering wheel are "touchy," I didn't think the Rogue was. The inside looks very luxurious, and I love the large touchscreen.
Story
I live in a rural community, and we needed to drive back to our wooded area to a fire pit and had to use the Rogue to get back there. It had also been raining for several days. In the super wet, mushy grass, the Rogue made it back to our fire pit but on the way back, it was getting stuck in some of the ruts it had made on the way there. Pros
My absolute favorite thing about the Rogue is the 360-degree camera. It is so nice to be able to see all the way around the vehicle, especially when parking. I can always see how close I am to the lines on each side of me. The large touchscreen is perfect for the navigation system. The gas mileage is comparable to a car, but I like how it's a crossover, so I still have room in the back for lots of things. The leather, heated seats are so nice in the winter.
Cons
The only con that I can think of is that there isn't a ton of space in the back seat area. I have a have 1-year-old in a car seat, and I have to get back there with her sometimes, and it is a little smaller than I would prefer. Although, I would still buy this vehicle if I had to choose again.
2009 Nissan Rogue - A good, reliable car.
The car has held up very well. It currently has over 125,000 miles, and all work needed on it would fall under regular maintenance. It handles well, gets good gas mileage, is spacious, and comfortable. I drive regularly on curvy, wooded roads and this vehicle has never let me down. It does equally well on short or long haul trips. There is an abundance of anchors for car seats too!
Story
I live in a very hilly area, and my car was able to handle those hills very well, even when I had 5 people in the car, including 3 people over 6 ft. tall!
Pros
Good gas mileage. Many anchors for car seats. Great headlights. Versatile fold-down seat options. Smooth ride due to CVT. Intuitive console. Purse hook. Trim size makes it city-friendly. AWD makes it country-friendly. Holds value. Popular model makes parts accessible.
Cons
Poor rear visibility from driver seat. No cargo light over trunk. Over-sensitive TPS.
