2008 Nissan Rogue Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2008 Nissan Rogue - One of the best vehicles I've ever owned.
The Rogue is seriously one of the best cars I have ever owned. It has been extremely reliable, has required very little maintenance and is an overall smooth ride.
Story
I used it to drive up to Salem Mass. for a weekend. It was a smooth ride the whole way.
Pros
As I mentioned before, this vehicle is exceptionally reliable. Over the years I have had many others, but this has really stood the test of time. I've take it on many road trips with it, and never once have I had a problem. This is especially important when you are travelling cross country, or on any get away that is long distance. Another plus is the exceptional miles per gallon I have gotten out of it. SUVs and trucks in general tend to be gas guzzlers. This one however, has is really fuel efficient. This is quite handy for not only long distance trips, but also for highway travel and ge... (more)
Cons
The only real con I can think of is the lack of space, especially for an SUV. It does have a reasonable amount of space when the seats are down. However, if the back seats are up, the cargo space is limited. This is fine for grocery store trips and the like. However, if you have more than two passengers, it can be quite a problem. I had to help a friend and his wife move a few years back. With him and his wife in the car, it made for a rather uncomfortable ride.
2008 Nissan Rogue - My black Nissan Rogue.
I have drove this car for 5 years. I like it. It has proven reliable. It is good with gas. I don't like the shape of it. It is all wheel drive, so I feel safe driving it when it snows. It has a great turning radius, I can park anywhere, and make U-turns in one shot.
Story
We took the car out to sight see Colorado, and some light off-road. The car didn't make the trip, the people did, but the car got us there. Its where we had refuge once it got dark and cold out.
Pros
The car is reliable and hasn't let me down yet. It fits two car seats, and my family can drive around in it. The Bluetooth is great paired with my phone. The voice clarity is awesome. It has Bose speakers which are great. Also has a grocery organizer. The backseat can fold down and fit bulkier items that wouldn't fit in a regular trunk. It has a nice roof window, that we can open and look up at the stars. The trunk is also comfortable to sit on if we are hanging out and there's no place to sit.
Cons
The transmission is different than most cars. The maintenance requires a certain fluid that is expensive. It cant fit another car seat, so if we have another kid, we will need another car. The driver seat is weird to adjust and isn't too comfortable. The CD player has started to malfunction, if we put in a CD it kicks it out and shuts off the system.
