2012 Nissan Rogue - Greatest value
Have driven this car for roughly a year, and so far everything has been fantastic. The grip in bad weather has been outstanding. The gas mileage is excellent (about 325-350 miles per fill up). The storage space is sufficient for a 4-person family (complete with sports-crazy teenagers). The ride is very good, bumps will still be felt but only the biggest ones will be noticed. The Rouge was able to fit 10 bags of topsoil and host of plants on a recent trip to the hardware store. The Rogue is the best, most versatile car I have owned in my lifetime.

My sons baseball field is just that, a field. Typically, the parents will park on a small hill just off of the main road to go watch the children play. After a particularly bad rainstorm, the game was finally cancelled. My Wife, two sons, and I all went back to the Rouge and piled in to keep dry while we waited for it to let up, and watched as a host of other parents tried (unsuccessfully) to drive out of their spots; the ground had become much too saturated for much traction to be had. This particular issue had occurred to us on a similar day the year before (different car), so we knew their pain. I looked at my Wife, put the Rouge in gear, pressed the gas gingerly, and promptly rolled right out of the small ditch and onto the road with no drama whatsoever. Flashed a smile to the rest of the parents and drove home to get dry.
There is quite a lot of leg room in the vehicle for all riders.
The seats are very comfortable.
The backup camera helps out quite a bit, as the Rogue is not large, but bigger than your normal car.
Trim is good, does not feel cheap to the touch.
Instrument panel is easy to understand, and includes everything that could be necessary.
The back hatch offers enough room to transport two teenagers and their sports gear to wherever they need to go.
Stereo sounds great, no tinny sounds.
Plenty of room for essentials in central console and glove box.

Has a little orange light above the passenger seat which helps to illuminate while not blinding while night driving.
Mileage remaining meter tracks all the way down to 15 miles left.
Back seats fold down, effectively doubling the hauling space.
The air conditioning makes quite a lot of noise when cranked up.
The directional ports for the a/c do not move the air quite like you would hope.
Central instrument panel (radio/climate) extends all the way onto the dash, culminating into a speaker of sorts. Makes it difficult to set a third-party GPS on a mount, and the angle of the windshield makes this a chore to mount there as well.
Gas cap on the passengers side takes some getting used to, especially when pulling into a full service gas station.

2011 Nissan Rogue - I enjoy owning and driving my Rogue.
I enjoy my Rogue because of the many amenities that it features. My seats warm up, and my heat/air works very well. I also enjoy my radio. It came with 3 months of free Sirius radio which I purchased at the end of the free 3 months. I enjoy the many radio channels while driving back and forth to work. My former car was a stick shift so I enjoy my automatic transmission.
I also enjoy the size of my vehicle. It is not too big and not too little. I can sit 4 adults comfortably even if they have plenty of meat on their bones. The seats fold down so I can haul most things with little or no trouble. It also has room for tall passengers. There's plenty of head room. I don't have this problem with my Rogue because my headlights are so efficient.
My Rogue also handles nicely. When changing lanes, it handles easily and quickly. I don't have to turn it very hard to get it to glide into a spot. The mirrors make it easy to see objects that are often in blind spots in other car mirrors. The driver can also see beside the car as well.
My neighbors often park at the end of my driveway. On three occasions I backed into their car before I bought my Rogue. Since I bought the Rogue with the excellent back up camera, I haven't backed into anything at all.

My top positive attributes for the Rogue are the heated seats, the radio and speakers for the radio, the price of the vehicle, the extra headroom, the cargo space, and the excellent back up camera.

There are two negative points to my Rogue. The gas mileage is not as good as I would like and the doors tend to swing shut when you open them. In other words, when I get out of the car the door usually swings shut on my legs. These points are minimal though.

2014 Nissan Rogue - Nissan Rogue - Meh
The Nissan Rogue is an over all decent crossover vehicle. The overall drivability is great. The car handles well in all conditions. In the snow it is one of the best cars I have ever driven. With the CVT transmission the 4 cylinder engine produces enough power. I have to put the throttle down from time to time but the car never gets upset by this. Not slow, but not the fastest. Compared to other cars in its class I think the Rogue is the fastest off the line. Although the car drives very well I always feel like I'm in a very cheap vehicle. There are often rattles and knocks when hitting bumps and it is by no means a quiet cabin.

I took the Rogue through some thick snow trying to get it stuck. It doesn't.

Great gas mileage. I average close to 25 mpg with a lead foot and starting and stopping to 60 mph often in my morning commute.
I am completely sold on the CVT transmission. With out the need to change gears I am able to get power instantly at any time. No throttle lag. The CVT helps the car accelerate from 0 enormously. I feel with a traditional transmission the engine would not be enough for this car.
The AWD when activated is phenomenal. Living in the mid west I never know when it will start snowing but I can drive the Rogue confidently in any condition.

I cant help but feel the ride is a little rough. The rogue was made to be a light car to help with mpg. What comes of this is a unpolished interior. Without a telescoping steering wheel I never feel truly comfortable in the car. In order to reach the steering wheel my legs are cramped and the arm rest is behind me. Also when it is raining the car gets very loud. You can hear the rain coming off your tires and it sounds like one of your back windows is open. For the price it feels chintzy.
