2000 Nissan Pathfinder - Durable, fun and long lasting
I love my Nissan Pathfinder. It was just the car and just the color I was looking for. I love the features of it and the size is perfect for all of my adventures. The back is roomy for all my gear. And even the seats (including the back) comfortably fit adults. I also love the way it sits up taller than most cars so I can see the road very clearly. All of the windows provide me unobstructed views as well. I feel safe driving this car and even am comfortable driving it in snow that's to the reliable 4 wheel drive.
Story
I have used this car to drive my friends, our bikes and all our gear to many bike events. It is so nice to be able to transport so much stuff and a car full of people rather than all of us driving separately.
Pros
I love the color.
This car has lasted for a long time.
I have hardly had to get anything fixed on it.
It has tons of room in the back for gear (or to even sleep in if I want to).
My bike rack fits on the back just perfectly.
The back seats are room and comfortable for adult passengers.
I can see out of all the windows very well.
It sits up tall to see down the road well.
I love the lumbar support.
It is an outdoorsy vehicle and fits my lifestyle perfectly.
I would buy it again because it has been so durable.
It handles well in snow when I have it in 4wd.
Cons
The gas mileage isn't so great.
My CD player quit working.
The antennae is stuck in the up position so now I can't drive through a car wash without risking breaking it completely off.
2000 Nissan Pathfinder - Great SUV
I bought my Pathfinder used. I have owned it for 10 years and I have absolutely loved it. It is so versatile for all the activities I do. I can drive it in snow because of its 4-wheel drive. I can carry bikes on the back and have lots of storage space for the gear. All the seats, including the back, are comfortable for adults. I got to pick out a blue Pathfinder which is my favorite color.
Story
I have had some great experiences in this car. My friends and I have driven to many bicycle events in this vehicle. We've made tons of great memories lugging our bikes and gear and ourselves to bike events and then driving our weary bodies back home in this reliable fun SUV.
Pros
I love the look of the body on the 2000 Pathfinder. It is less boxy than the newer Pathfinders. It is a very comfortable car to both ride in and drive. There is tons of leg room as well as room for gear in the back. I can see so well because I sit higher up. And I can see out the sides and the back really well too, better than a lot of cars. I feel very safe because I can see so well and because it's a little bit bigger vehicle.
Cons
My biggest con is that gas is a little more expensive in this vehicle because it is more of a truck body than a car.
