This type of car is excellent for everybody. I like the way it performs in the street. Has a very good engine and has all the extras you could have. It is an automatic transmission SUV so you can take it almost wherever you want because of its power. It is so spacious and comfortable. The seats are cover in leather and the dash is very well designed. The brand's quality is something I trust very much. I cannot think about something I dislike about the car because everything it has is perfect for my requirements. The fuel perform could be better.
Story
I do not have fun stories but happy ones. Always I go out in the car with the family, the car works great and we spend a great quality time together so that makes me happy.
Pros
It has automatic transmission so you do not have to worry about doing shifts every single moment. The car seats works electronically so you can move them towards the back or the front very smooth and easy. The front seats have a heater system so if it is to cold you can turn this feature on and the seats will start to warm you. The engine's power and the car size give you the possibility of carry boats, or cars or other kind of trailer.
Cons
Probably the thing I do not like that much about the car is the performance it has with the fuel. It's not that cheap to have a fuel tank always. The exterior paint quality was not that good. It has to be repainted in around five years depending of the weather where you live. Some accessories and parts are quite expensive so you must have additional budget if something happens. It is too difficult to change, replace or fix something inside the engine. It does not have very much space under the cap so you must take off a lot of parts in order to reach what you are looking to fix but you d... (more)

When I purchased my Pathfinder I was looking for a family size vehicle but not your normal "grocery getter". I liked that it already had an overhead DVD Player installed and that it was a 4X4 vehicle. The engine is a good size and boasts good miles per gallon. The interior is comfortable and of good quality, I really like the sun/moon roof and the roof rack. The ability to transport 7-8 people if needed was appealing also. The 5 disc stereo with Bose speakers is very nice and has GPS.
Story
Our family loves camping and driving trails. We have taken it camping and really enjoy being able to drive through the rock and rivers to our favorite spot to set up camp.
Pros
4X4 Off-road capability, sunroof, leather interior, overhead DVD player, roomy, 3rd row seating, storage space. Integrated GPS, 5 disc changer with Bose speakers.
Cons
Transmission is prone to failure and is not being covered by a recall even though its a known problem. Too much plastic on the exterior. There is practically no aftermarket 4X4 support. Under carriage is deteriorating at an unappealing pace. MPG is not nearly what's advertised. The price to update the GPS is outrageous. The stereo does not have the ability to ad an auxiliary device such as an MP3 player or smart phone.

I knew I would love the car as soon as I first sat in it. The Pathfinder was very comfy, and on the test drive, it handled beautifully. I have owned Nissans for most of my life because they are so dependable. I have not been disappointed with this one. I have never had issues other than standard maintenance. Three years into ownership and I still love it as much as I did the day I bought it. The Pathfinder is so spacious, and the seats are easy to flip up and down to maximize space when needed. It could get better gas mileage, but I knew it would be on the less gas conscious side upon purchase. My mechanic told me the spark plugs are a pain because they are difficult to get to, and it takes a few hours in a real garage to get them swapped out. Overall though, I am extremely pleased wit... Story
I go to the beach very often; it's about an hour away. My car handles beautifully on the back roads, which is really the best way to get to the beach. We get there bright and early at 9:00 a.m., so we always get front-row parking...my car pretty much has its own parking spot there.
Pros
It is so spacious and very comfortable no matter where you sit in the car. It handles beautifully and is very reliable mechanically speaking.
Cons
It does require the high-end synthetic oil, so oil changes are about $50 a pop. The spark plugs are difficult to reach when they need to be replaced. and the gas mileage is not ideal.
