We were very excited to buy our Nissan Murano. Our family had only 3 members so it was a perfect fit. We've taken it across many states and its performed well but it has had its problems along the way. Overall we are satisfied with our purchase but I would not personally recommend it someone else. There were issues within the first year that had to be address by the manufacturer, recall issues. They paid the bill for these fixes but my wife was stranded in the freeway when they started acting up.
Story
The weekend we bought this Murano, we took it for a trip to Palm Springs (a very hot, around 115 degree desert). It ran great and kept us super cool in the desert heat. That was one memorable experience with this car.
Pros
At first, going from a long time V4 car, you could feel the power of the V6 when accelerating. It handled very well, to be expected from these sporty looking SUVs. Fuel economy was very good.
Cons
I believe the first thing that went wrong with it was the air intake portion of it. The car seemed to just stall in the middle of the road. We took it to the dealership and they told us it was a common issue with these models and they replaced it for free, not before my wife had to suffer being stranded in the freeway with it. It's prone to leaks. Twice its leaked oil from two different locations and I just recently had to put a new radiator because there was a huge crack in it.

This is the first Nissan Murano I have purchased and I would have to say I would do it again. I love the way the car handles and the luxurious feel of the interior. I have the platinum series so it has all the bells and whistles on it and my favorite feature is the backup camera. It lets me know what is behind me at all times. I can push a button and know what is in front and how close I am to the curb. It is a really nice feature. Another one my husband found is the cruse control that you can basically set and it does all the work. It is radar guided and speeds up and slows down based on the closest car in front of you. It's pretty cool for the long rides on the freeway.
Story
Taking it on it's first road trip. We went to Vegas. Road trips are always fun and you always learn new and interesting things about your new car.
Pros
The pros are the back up camera, the cruse control, the Bluetooth phone, blind spot warning system and the navigation system.
Cons
The cons... well there really aren't too many for me. I do wish the blind spot warning system was a little more than a light next to my rear view mirror. Maybe a beep or a vibration in the seat. Other than that I am pretty happy with the car.

The people who work here are amazing. They are so willing to go the extra mile for you and do what other dealers won't. My wife and I talked to them and gave them exactly what we were looking for and how much we wanted to pay for it. A couple weeks later, they called us up saying they just got what we wanted on a trade in. They gave it to us at just barely over what they paid for it, far under market value.
