1995 Nissan Maxima - Great Budget Car
I purchased a 1995 Nissan Maxima from a car lot for under $1,000. For the price of the car, I got a good deal. The car lasted for over two years and it was great for driving around town. I was able to use the car to drive to work, out of a town a few times, and to school. If you're considering a small, compact car you should consider purchasing a Nissan Maxima. It is a trusty and reliable brand.
Story
I cannot really think of anything off the top of my head. I do remember one time I made the mistake of purchasing a large furniture item at a local store. The item was in a box and I thought it would fit in my car without a problem. The item did get in the truck but I had to rope it down and drive very slowly back to my house.
Pros
There were plenty of pros about the car. The overall body of the car was in decent shape. The car came loaded with speakers which provided surround sound in the car. The windows and doors were automatic and there was a sunroof which was great to use in the summer. The car was small and compact which helped me save on gas.
Cons
The car came with an anti-lock device which drained the battery a couple of times. For such an older car I did not think it was necessary for the car to have the anti-lock device. I could not lock my car since it would trigger the anti-lock device and it was a pain to turn off. Also, the CD player and the air conditioner did not work. Since the car was a budget car it ran into some minor problems over time. The tires began to tread and the radiator got a leak.
