1997 Nissan Maxima - Reliable and cheap
This car has always run well and has had very few problems over the years. I've taken it on long road trips, and it was very comfortable for the whole trip. It's spacious inside and can fit five people comfortably. It drives smoothly and has decent acceleration. Gas mileage is good in relation to its model year and size. Only drawback is that it has had a few parts from the radio/CD play break over the years due to age.
Story
I took a fun road trip with some friends from abroad. We drove down to South Carolina and through the mountains. It was a great trip, and the car did well.
Pros
Easy to drive, cheap to operate, and pretty comfortable for the price.
Cons
I might consider a smaller car in the future, as this one was usually bigger than what I thought I would need. Definitely not a good car for just one person.
2010 Nissan Maxima -
There's not much I dislike about my car. Its reliable, low maintenance and the gas is reasonable. There are some trouble with the engine here and there but overall its a sturdy and good car.
Story
I took a road trip from Nashville to Miami with a few friends and it drove great the whole way.
Pros
I love everything about my Nissan as I currently I have about 177,000 miles on it and its still going strong.
Cons
The only con would have to be that my drive shaft seems to be loose and it affects the way I change gears.
