2012 Nissan Maxima - TechLess
I bought my 2012 Maxima used as part of a trade in. I like the body style and the color. The car is roomy, but looks sporty. I like that the sunroof has a visor on it to keep my hair from flying up. I like the fact it has built in Bluetooth, but it only has limited functioning for calls only. I would prefer it to be able to play music and texting capabilities. The quality of the car is okay. Nothing major has broken over time, but my window auto up on the drivers side isn't working. The auto down still works. The car preforms as expected. I've driven in high traffic conditions in urban areas such as New York and didn't have any issues needing additional pickup.
Story
We took a road trip from Georgia to Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina.
Pros
My favorite features would be the overall looks of the car. The interior and exterior are nice. The steering wheel controls are better than other vehicles I currently own or have owned, including a Lexus IS 250. I like the added vent in the back of the car.
Cons
The driver side auto up isn't working. The stereo system is basic. My model isn't color screen or xm equipped. The Bluetooth system is for calls only. There is a headphone jack, but no usb jack.
2009 Nissan Maxima - I love Ace.
This was my first foreign car. All my cars were American made. The Nissan Maxim was not my first choice.
Story
Driving my car to my hometown, and no one had that kind of car yet. The ride was roughly around 2 1/2 hours, and I only had to fill up once going and coming back home.
Pros
I like the V6 engine. The car has a lot of get up and go. The car is not to small. It is long and spacious. The five-disc CD changer has come in handy listening to some old music. Another pro for the car is when you start to drive, the doors automatically lock. Also the dual A/C and heater for the back seat riders is a plus.
Cons
The push to start is not one of my favorites. I worry about if it break and how much would it cost to get it fix. The factory lights are too dim for night driving. I also wished it came with a navigational system with back-up cameras.
