1997 Nissan Maxima - Beautifully designed car that is comfortable and long lasting.
First thing that comes to mind is it has great longevity. It is a great quality car and I can attest that as I've been driving this car for the past sixteen years, and I was really able to get my money's worth. The interior and exterior has a beautiful design and is surprisingly very spacious. I was able to fit all my belongings when I moved in and out of the dorms in college. There are many extra features in the car that I liked including the Bose stereo system and automatic windows that you can open with the remote from outside of the car. However maintaining it was costly because of the engine design. All the components under the hood are very compacted together and it was very labor intensive for the mechanic to get to the part that needed replacing. Labor took longer so I had to p... (more)
Story
Because of the ample space inside the vehicle, I am able to fit four other friends. We've made many memories going to the beach and jamming out to random tunes. The speakers are Bose and the quality of the sound was excellent. The car even fit everything we needed for the beach including our boogie boards, lounge floats, chairs, tents, and extra large coolers.
Pros
Spacious, beautiful interior and exterior design, longevity.
Cons
Engine parts placement.
2015 Nissan Maxima - Smooth reliability in a beautiful package.
I bought this car in 2016, and it has been a fantastic experience ever since. This car shows you can have a comfortable reliable car that rides beautifully and reminds you how great it is every time you go for a drive. I have been keeping up with the maintenance, and I know this car will last for years to come.
Story
When I first took this car out from the lot and drove it on the highway, and it was smooth like a luxury jet, just cruising down at 70 mph.
Pros
The Nissan maxima has an engine that includes good gas mileage but also brings the power when you hit the gas. This car has a CVT transmission that shifts so smooth the power just slowly ramps up like on an airplane. The package I chose included the nicer interior with leather seats that makes this car beautiful both inside and out.
Cons
There are few things I don't like about this vehicle, but they are mostly cosmetic. When I chose the car, it didn't include the alloy rims, which look a whole lot better than the ones currently on the car. Since my car is a dark gray, I would have loved to have had the alloy rims painted black. The car also has a stock sound system that, in my opinion, is definitely lacking compared to other vehicles.
