Used Nissan Maxima for Sale in Chowchilla, CA

The CV Joints have to be replaced a lot.. But since I have had the car for so long already, I know when it's time to get them checked. It doesn't do very well fuel-wise.

I've seen the paint peeling on a lot of the Nissans I've encountered so I'm not sure if it's a Nissan thing or an area specific thing. It's strange, actually, because it's not necessarily paint peeling but fading in a pattern. There are two faded lungs on the hood of the car, which makes it look old and cheap. The brakes are squeaking a lot, but only when we back up slowly. Between the faded paint and the brakes, the car looks and sounds cheap, even though it runs well. It does have a bit of trouble going uphill, enough that sometimes my foot is on the floor while the engine works to catch up. The steering wheel is peeling and the seatbelt is fraying, both things that happen with use, but are still kind of gross. There doesn't seem to be any access to the trunk from the inside of the car, which is an inconvenience for putting extra long things in the car. The keyhole has a strange locking mechanism where you have to push a small button to pull the key out, which isn't inconvenient, but also seems unnecessary. There are only two keyholes to unlock the doors, and only the one on the drivers side unlocks all of the doors. This means I can't approach from the passenger side to unlock the back door, but have to reach in and unlock it with my hand after opening the door, and then also manually lock that door again. Or unlock/lock all the doors then walk around to the door I actually need, then walk back around to the drivers side. Also, there are lock/unlock buttons on the inside of the car but they no longer seem to work. The lock is also growing kind of stiff, which is concerning because we only have one key. The open trunk button on the inside of the car doesn't work anymore to open the trunk. You must use the key.
