I really enjoy my Nissan Maxima. It's a nice car, it gets great gas mileage, and it rarely needs any kind of work done on it. Beyond routine things like changing the oil and tires, it's been very low maintenance. It's got a lot of extras, like a heated seat and a sun roof, which is always nice. It's a good looking car, nice sleek lines. Lots of head and leg room in the front and in the back. I guess my only real complaint would be that the leather on the seats cracks kind of easily in the sun. But other than that, and that's a pretty minor problem, the car is great. Very reliable vehicle which I plan on driving for the next 5 years, assuming it keeps going the way it's been going.
Story
We went on a family trip, and we were able to get all 5 of us, plus our luggage, in the car without issue.
Pros
Good mileage. I easily get 25 MPG on the highway. Nice looking car. Easy to drive. Lots of extra features. Easy to maintain.
Cons
Nothing really comes to mind. It's a good car. The leather trim has gotten a little bit tired, which I guess is to be expected.

CAR HAS A GREAT FIT AND FINISH. ALL CONTROLS HAVE A GOOD SOLID FEEL, QUALITY MATERIALS USE THAT HOLD UP WELL, STYLING OF THE CAR NEVER SEEMS TO DATE ITSELF, HAS A SOPHISTICATED BUT SPORTY LOOK FOR A FOUR DOOR. PREMIUM GAS IS RECOMMENDED WHICH DOES HELP WITH THE PERFORMANCE BUT NOT NECESSARY.GAS MILEAGE IS ABOUT 28-30 MPG REPAIRS COST IS TYPICALLY HIGHER BUT IT IS WORTH IT THE CAR IS FUN TO DRIVE AND THE RIDE AND PERFORMANCE ARE GREAT.
Story
MY BESTFRIEND USE TO RACE IN OUR CARS IT WAS SO MUCH FUN EVEN THROUGH HE ALWAYS WON BUT MY MAXIMA PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT.
Pros
BODY STYLE, SUN ROOF, GAS SAVER, POWER, CONFORT IN DRIVE, AMENITEIES IN THE CAR, CONFY, POWERFUL, LOOKS AND PERFORMANCE FUN TO DRIVE AND COMFORATABLE QUALITY, COST OF OWNERSHIP, ALL IN ALL IT IS A GREAT CAR
Cons
BELTS BREAK AROUND THE PULLEY AND THE AIR CONDITION COMPRESSOR GOES OUT, ANTENNA IS TO LONG IT GETS BROKEN SIZE OF THE CARE, IT IS NOT NEW, SPORTS SEDAN CHARACTERSITICS TAKE AWAY FROM THE MILEAGE RIDE AS CAR GETS TO HIGH MILEAGE.

My car is a 2000 Nissan Maxima. I initially got it because I didn't have many options around me, but I don't regret the purchase. The car has a strong motor and performs very well. It's a V6 engine and surprisingly, it's capable of towing a decent amount of weight for sedan (installed the towing kit later, this was an add-on). Above all the car is reliable like no other car. It can take some abuse, yet still performs reliably, even if it hasn't had maintenance for a while. My only real complaint is that I don't like the design of the back lights. The Maxima models have always looked "masculine," but the 2000–2003 models look more feminine than I would prefer.
Story
I was able to tow a 6x10 cargo trailer 1,000 miles...twice, with my car. I also towed a Nissan Murano with my car using a tow bar.
Pros
Engine: Strong engine that can speed away or tow a decent amount of weight. Durability: Engines for Maximas tend to last and don't need much maintenance, except for normal wear and tear or normal parts replacements. Design: The car was a well-designed vehicle, which has been very durable for the last few years.
Cons
Back Lights: As mentioned before, I'm not a fan of the design of the tail lights, but that the only major issue I have with the car.
