2012 Nissan JUKE Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2012 Nissan JUKE -
The Juke is hands down the nicest vehicle I have owned thus far. It has a ton of slick features like the backup cam, CVT, eco and sport driving modes, and navigation. You can swap between 2wd, awd, and a variable awd mode at will. The car is quiet, and handles very well in New England winters. My only gripe is the size. I've got an 11 year old and a 3 year old and they pretty much fill be back seat of the vehicle. I don't think an adult would be very comfortable in the back. There is enough trunk space to fit probably 8 bags of groceries maximum. I've also struggled to reach the mpg that Nissan advertised, although I do almost zero highway driving. I average about 23 mpg for the most part driving on rural roads.
Story
The day I purchased my Juke, it was a crazy snowstorm. I had just gotten rid of my Jeep, so my main concern was getting a vehicle that performed well in the New England winters. By the time I had gotten to the dealership to take my test drive, we already had gotten nearly two feet of snow. I put it in AWD and went to a local cemetery that has terribly maintained dirt roads, and the Juke handle... (more)
Pros
The Juke is sporty and has an extremely unique look. The interior is very luxurious and is feature packed... The backup camera is clear and easy to use both day and night. I am also very fond of its performance in the snow and ice.
Cons
The Juke is listed as a crossover, but in reality, it is smaller than most cars. There is very little interior room for your legs (although, there is plenty of headroom), and the trunk can barely hold anything. Nissan claims it gets close to 30 mpg, but I've come nowhere close to that, and I drive very conservatively.
2012 Nissan JUKE - A small, but comfy ride.
I have ultimately enjoyed my experience with having my Nissan Juke. The ride is smooth and awesome. I'm also really happy that it has the option to flip a switch from front wheel drive to all wheel drive. I also love the color of my Juke; I've not seen many electric blue Jukes around my area. I wish I could have gone for a better package with more bells and whistles, but it was my first new car purchase.
Story
I get noticed a lot because of the color of my car and the Hello Kitty Spock vinyl decal on my back windshield.
Pros
I love the electric blue color. A switch to flip the car from front wheel drive to all wheel drive. The shape and curves of the car are appealing and interesting. A lot of people didn't know what kind of car it was, so I got a lot of questions about it. Smooth ride. Fast.
Cons
If you have a family, it's way too small. Only real lights on the interior are in the very front, so you can't see anything in the back seat. The ceiling of the vehicle gets shorter in the back, so no tall people in back. Actually, tall people in general should probably steer clear of this car. My boyfriend can drive it, but things aren't always easy and comfortable for him. He's 6'4".
