This is the 3rd Nissan frontier I've owned and been very happy with all. I've only had this one 2 yrs. My last one was a 2005 that I bought new and still have it, my son now drives it. Its at 120,000 miles and still going strong.. The frontier is a perfect size, not to big but big enough to get the job done. The only drawback is the back seat is not very comfortable for an adult and the gas mileage on both trucks (2005 & 2011) is not very good. Other than that it is very reliable and easy to drive.
Story
Many happy family memories going to the beach, definitely able to load lots of beach fun stuff in the back!
Pros
Reliability and easiness to drive
Cons
Gas mileage

My Nissan Frontier has held up well and still looks as good as it did 5 years ago when I got it. The crew cab is the only way a pickup truck would work as a vehicle for me since I have kids. I like that the we don't need to open the front doors to get in the back, and don't have to worry about damaging the rear doors if closed out of order. The kid's car seats fit well in the back when they were little, and the bed is just big enough to meet most of my needs.
Story
I went with some friends to pick up supplies at Sam's Club for our summer church picnic. Two other guys showed up in full size trucks and referred to my Frontier as a "baby truck." They were both surprised when we had a pallet of soda loaded into the back and the weight didn't bottom it out. This is a tough little truck.
Pros
The truck looks great. It can also carry a decent load for a pickup its size. My favorite thing about the Frontier is that my family fits in it comfortably, it provides the utility of a truck when I need it, yet it is still compact enough to fit in my garage!
Cons
There are not a lot of bells and whistles on this truck. I have the base version, and there is no GPS or other touch screen input. There is not even an auxiliary input jack or Bluetooth connection for the radio. The ride is a bit stiff; it does not drive like a car and is not built on a crossover body. This is a utilitarian vehicle, and you are not going to impress your girl taking her out in this on date night.
