The cube is very spacious in the front (driver and passenger) but there's little to no "trunk" space. I can hardly fit groceries and a bike in the pack. It is very nice for campus parking though! Since I live near a very large campus and often have to park on campus. The shortness of the car helps a lot.
Story
On campus it is super easy to fit into those tight parking spots. The apartment I lived in was slightly off campus and it had it's own paid parking spot. I was really happy to have the Cube for my spot though. I had to park between a brick wall and a huge truck that always parked over the line. If I had been in a longer car, I would never been able to park there.
Pros
Very spacious if you are a larger/taller person. It does have pretty decent gas mileage as well. The car is really nice if you're moving as well. Because the back of the car is squarish, it's easy to pack boxes on top of one another. If you have to fit into small parking places, it's super easy to maneuver into them. Parallel parking is actually really easy now, and that's saying something!
Cons
If the whole car is full of people, there isn't that much storage space in the hatch. Also, I have had the transmission go out on me two times. However, because it was under warranty, I didn't have to pay for the replacement of the part. As soon as it reaches a year before the warranty ends, I will be looking for another car. On the topic of the car itself, I really hate how it does not downshift when accelerating onto the highway. You literally have to take your foot off the gas peddle before it will do anything.

The build quality of the Nissan Cube is great! I have driven the car for about 80,000 miles and have not heard any rattles or clings. The car has a rounded interior which gives it a larger, more open feel than other box type cars. I love that it is a bit further off the ground so I don't feel like I'm in a small compact car although it is small enough to fit in compact car parking spots. I get great gas mileage (ranging from 28-32 mpg) and it is roomy enough for my husband, baby and myself. We are able to tie our kayaks on the top of the car, put my husbands sports equipment in the back and pack bags to take with us to go travelling.
Story
We took this car on a family vacation to Carlsbad Caverns and Elephant Butte National Park. We took our cocker spaniel with us and had a good time romping around; afterward we took a swim in the butte and came back soaked (it was also raining) with towels everywhere and jumped back into the car. It was a blast!
Pros
The top positive things about the Cube is it is compact in size, gets great gas mileage, and is a lot roomier than it may seem. I also love the look of my Cube. I like that the body is more square but not too boxy and the color is beautiful!! The Cube also has really good brakes which makes it hard for me to drive other cars whose brakes don't work as well as mine.
Cons
The biggest con of the Cube is that it does not have a lot of power or 'get up and go'; besides that, I don't have any definitive complaints about the Cube.

I like the color of the car; it is a shade of light blue. It starts up well and drives smoothly. The only issue is that the brakes of the car are quite sensitive; so if you lightly tap on the brakes, it registers as a jolting stop so that is a bit of a con. The back seats also fold down, so if I need to transport anything heavy/large, I can still use my own car without having to rent a truck or hire a company. Even without putting the seats down, the trunk of the car has a decent amount of space for me to put groceries. It is very fuel efficient. I don't need to fill up the tank as often. One of the issues I have with my car is that it doesn't have a navigation system, and the contour of the dashboard makes it an awkward placement if I want to purchase something to clip my phone on top... Story
A lot of people in my area drive Nissan Cubes. So I was at the grocery store and went to go put my groceries up, and I was locked out of my car. I then realized I was trying to get into someone else's car. Then I realized my car was a bit further down from the parking lot.
Pros
I enjoy the light blue color of my car. It also has cup holders on the corners of the front, so the passenger and the driver are able to have their drinks in front instead of on the side. It also has great fuel efficiency and drives smoothly.
Cons
It doesn't have a navigation system. The brakes work but are too sensitive. The frame of the window shield makes it hard to see when turning at times. It gets noticeably dirty because it is such a light color of a car. The roof of the interior portion of the car has fuzzy bits that I didn't notice when purchasing the car.
