2005 Nissan Altima - Great highway car.
The car out performed my highest expectations. I traveled across the country in this car putting over 350,000 miles on it. The only thing I replaced besides tires and brakes was a fuel pump. The car got better than listed gas mileage on the interstate. The ride was smooth and handled as expected. The cars heater and a/c both worked well and kept the car at a comfortable temperature. The backseat was plenty big enough for car seats and the entire family to travel in.
Story
We drove as a family to Disney World in it. It was a 13 hour drive and it was plenty big enough for my family of 4. We were able to fit all of our luggage in the trunk and the kids played games and puzzles in the back seat with no issues.
Pros
The seats in the car are comfortable and it is easy to access everything from the drivers seat. The stereo system is great and there is no need for aftermarket upgrades. There were plenty of cup holders and places to hide all of the gadgets. It had plenty of charging ports, but I would expect newer cars to have more. The trunk space was great and you could lay the back seat down incase I needed to haul larger items.
Cons
The paint on the hood peeled off. After doing some research I found out this was a common issue. I had to pay to get the hood repainted.
2013 Nissan Altima - I love this car!
I love how smooth the ride of this car is! I have the coupe and was a little concerned that it would drive like a sports car and not like a sedan but I love it. I think that this is probably the best car that I have owned. I also love the gas mileage, I get about 350-360 miles per tank. With my previous car this is about a 40% upgrade. I would recommend this car to anyone who is searching for a sporty looking car with a great family ride feeling. For a coupe this car also has a very large backseat, with a great amount of head space and leg room. My husband is 6'1" and we have taken a 5+ hour road trip and he fit comfortably in the back the whole time. This car is also very reliable! Story
I got a chance to drive this vehicle to st louis to see my niece being born.
Pros
Some of the positives are the trunk space, gas mileage, and reliability.
Cons
I think the one negative thing about the car would be that the sound system isn't very good. It gets the job done but could be better.
