2005 Nissan Altima - This car is dependable and comfortable.
I like that the car has been dependable and rarely has had any problems. It's a very comfortable car—it has a good amount of room in the interior, and I love the heated seats. I wish that the car got better mileage; I think it's about 27 miles to the gallon, at best. I also would like it to be a bit smaller in the body to make it a bit more maneuverable in tight spaces, but on the other hand, that would likely impact the amount of space in the interior, and I wouldn't want to sacrifice that space. I also like that there's a good amount of space in the trunk.
Story
My husband and I have exclusively used this car for road trips between our home and our in-laws' home in the next state. We've had many pleasant trips, because the car is so comfortable to ride in.
Pros
I really love the heated seats. I just moved from an area that gets very, very cold in the winter, and the heated seats made it so much more pleasant to drive when it was bitterly cold. I like that it has a sun/moon roof, but I honestly don't open it that much. I have had really good luck with the car not breaking down or needing much in the way of major repairs, and honestly, that is my second highest priority in a car. My first priority is safety, and I have been in one minor fender-bender (a car hit mine while I was stopped at an intersection). There was minimal damage to the car, so I ... (more)
Cons
It does not really get great gas mileage. Aside from safety and dependability, fuel economy is my number three priority, and this car really does not stand out for having good mileage. From a looks perspective, the car is not flashy or particularly cool looking, so I guess that could be considered a con, but that's frankly not that important to me.
