2006 Nissan Altima - Fantastic and long-lasting vehicle
My Nissan Altima has been a fantastic vehicle. It has approximately 200,000 miles and has no signs of stopping. With regular maintenance, she has continued to be reliable and durable.
Story
I took a road trip down the California coast and saw the redwoods. I also drove it through the Oregon mountains and saw Crater Lake in the spring. She does great in the snow!
Pros
The vehicle picks up nicely and has good acceleration. The vehicle is fairly easy to do repairs on yourself, which can save quite a bit of money in the long run. The Altima has driven me up and down from a mountain town for several years and does great on the hill. It is comfortable and roomy.
Cons
I wish the car sat up higher off the ground. I also wish that I had a moon roof.
2010 Nissan Altima - Perfect Young Adult Car
This car has taken me through college and into independent life, doing everything it has been asked to do and going every distance asked to go without breaking a college student budget.
Story
This car was used to move almost myself into my dorm, in essentially one trip. Without having to move furniture, I used this car to move myself into my first college dorm along with the help of my roommate.
Pros
There was plenty of space for both people and luggage, as the car was used for many weekend trips for a family of five and all luggage. The gas mileage on these long highway drives was very good.
Cons
Transmission was CVT so revs were always changing, making acceleration somewhat sluggish. But for a 4-cylinder car whose main goal is fuel economy, this is to be expected.
