I wish the air conditioner still worked, that the handles hadn't snapped off, and that it didn't make so many rattling noises all the time.

So many! Currently the issue is overheating. It's hopefully just an issue with the thermostats, but is possibly a problem with the heads, which is going to be WAY too expensive to fix for what this awful car is worth. There is a rusted out portion of the passenger floorboard, and it's only a 2008! The tires do not hold air and need to be filled once every two weeks at least, and the wheels are rusted. The gas gauge is not very accurate- it constantly moves a little up and a little down (why would a gas gauge ever move up almost an eighth of a tank if I haven't put anything in it? Should a hill seriously account for an eighth tank?!) And the electronic "dte" is NOT accurate AT ALL. I start on a trip with 200 miles DTE, and end up half an hour later somewhere else with 190 miles DTE and then go five more miles and have 100? It leaks coolant, it leaks oil. It shakes at high speeds, it's not a comfortable ride, the gas door pops open on it's own sometimes, it has a broken motor mount so makes AWFUL noises upon start-up and during idle. I have a trusted mechanic (boyfriend) that I take it to often, and he tells me horror stories about these specific types of vehicles (Altimas) and how they are always coming in for the same issues, and they come in often.
