This is the third Nissan 350z I have owned in my life. I have always been a fan of Japanese sports cars because the ability to upgrade components and tune the engine is key thing for me. The build quality is unbelievable, I have 77,000 miles on my car and yet it drives like it did when I had a couple of thousand miles on the clock. The engine has held up over time, I've never had a transmission problem or any other major failure. The car looks pretty with its curves and for a car that is 8 years old, still manages to look relevant and turn people's heads. I upgraded my wheels to 19" racing rims, tinted the windows and have done some interior work but to be honest it's a gorgeous car even when its stock. The car is also very fast, one of the fastest cars I have ever owned and with a lit... (more)
Story
I drive the car from Nebraska to Chicago. My travel was paid for by my company but I chose to drive instead of taking the airline. It was a fun journey and I really got to open up the car on the long highways and hearing the engine roar when going through long tunnels was a sound I will never forget.
Pros
The body styling is beautiful, it rides low and has wonderful curves, especially the rear panels. The car is easy to race tune, there are so many third party parts and official mods that you can get to increase the power and make the car faster. Engine will run forever if taken care of properly. Lots of extras included such as xenon lights, heated seats, centre console gauges, brembo breaks.
Cons
The interior is a little cheap looking and can wear pretty easily. For instance it is very plastic but almost a cheap plastic. I drove this car in Nebraska and when it snows, the car was barely drivable due to the fact that it is rear wheel drive and has a low center of gravity. Now I'm in California and it's not a problem so much expect when it rains and the car tends to slide. Being a two seater there is not much room for you stuff or other people. The car can get uncomfortable over long journeys as the seats are not really built for comfort, more of a styling. The heated seats swit... (more)

I absolutely love my 350z. It is a top-quality car and performs very well. It is sporty looking as well as sporty feeling. It has around 80k miles on it and has not yet been in the shop for anything but normal maintenance. It is SO much fun to drive. It can take turns like a champ, at the same time I feel very safe in it.
Story
Every year I drive it to the beach. It is about a 3 hour drive for me and it's so much fun!
Pros
This car is an absolute joy to drive. For the price, it's unbeatable. It has fast acceleration, lots of torque, and can brake very quickly. The turn radius is very tight. The car overall is very small but not in a puny way. It zips in and out of traffic very nicely. The cabin is small, with no back-seat, but has TONS of storage areas inside. It has a Bose stereo system that is awesome! I'm very pleased with the quality of the car overall but specifically the convertible top, since I anticipated having to replace it/repair it long before 80k miles. I love the digital speedometer also. On lo... (more)
Cons
There were some trim problems with my year model specifically. The interior has chips all over on certain surfaces. Also the clear coat is completely gone on both side mirrors. I have done some research and discovered that this is not normal wear and tear and it is not only my car but many other people with the same year/model. It does have pretty bad blind spots, but all convertibles do. The cabin is very loud at high speeds, which all convertibles are. Gas mileage is not great but not terrible for a car with that much power. The trunk is tiny, but again, is expected with a convertible. T... (more)

The Z cars are all classics. The 350z is just as high quality and performance driven as the first Z. The look of smooth rounded lines is still relevant today. The fact that my car is 10years old but people still say "that's a really nice car" shows the lasting style of these Z's. The performance is dependable and the speed picks up with just a tiny bit of pressure that can push you back in your seat like you're driving a high horse power dragster! It's low maintenance and reliable, I've had mine for 10 years and 138,000 miles and still hasn't had anything other than the maintenance schedule!
Story
Because Z's have different colors you never see very many of the same color on the road in any city. I constantly have people ask me if my Z is a customer color! 3 Years in Jacksonville and I've only seen 1 other yellow 350Z!
Pros
Lasting style. Smooth lines, high horse power, easy maintenance, comfortable interior. Dash system moves as you adjust the steering wheel. Auto up/down windows, tectonic shifter. Larger trunk.
Cons
Can be expensive, tires can't be rotated, must by 2 different size tires, most parts must be ordered from Nissan. Most paint colors for touch ups or accidents must be ordered from Nissan. Premium fuel only. No back seat.
