I have owned this vehicle for 20 + years and it has been very reliable. I had to have the transmission replaced while it was still under warranty. Besides that, there have been no major issues. It still runs as well as it did when I bought it. It has 200,000+ miles on it. The only problems after 20+ years of use is that some of the molding is starting to rot and the interior seats are losing their ability to cushion when sitting on them and there are some rips in the upholstery. Mechanically, it is still very reliable. I like the fact that the vehicle is smaller than the ones made now and it is low to the ground. The only drawback is that it is hard to get out of the seat because it is low to the ground. I did have to replace the struts a few years ago. The Nissan Stanza is a quality v... (more)
Story
I locked my keys in the car for only one time while I have owned it and there was a locksmith in the parking lot where I was parked and he opened it for free.
Pros
Low to the ground...Great gas mileage...Long lasting quality parts
Cons
After 20+ years, I have nothing negative to say!

This is a good drift car and it is lightweight. The parts are really cheap and its great on gas. The price of this car is only going up so if you get one it could easy be an investment. This car has been on a lot of movies and it is popular and everybody who is anybody is trying to get there hand on one of this masterpieces.
Story
This is the fist car I drove that was 5 speed manual transmission and it was great
Pros
Sunroof is really good. The car can drift beautiful and the car is light weight and it only weight a little over 2 thousand pounds. You can modify this car from the appearance to the engine swap under the hood
Cons
The negative things about this car could be that it is easy for someone to steal the car if they really wanted to. The car is over twenty years old so it does not appeal like it should.

The Nissan 240SX is a sporty looking car. The first generation model is available in a variety of configurations including hatchback with moon roof, full convertible, and coupe. In addition to its sporty look, it also is available with a five speed manual transmission and 2.4L engine. While the engine is a bit under powered to be considered a true sports car, the 240SX handles like a true sports car with its rear-while drive and four-way steering. The intention of being a sport vehicle extends to the interior, which can accommodate four occupants, although the rear passenger seat does feel cramped. The front driver and passenger seat do their job well to keep their passengers in place when taking tight corners. The car was originally available with a stereo package equipped with a AM/F... Story
The 240SX was my first manual transmission vehicle, and it was the vehicle in which I learned to drive a stick shift. It tolerated my abuse and I was surprised that the clutch had not burnt out by the time I had become semi-competent at shifting.
Pros
The top positive thing about this vehicle is that it had the looks, amenities, and handling of a true sports car. It is unique with its projector headlights and being rear-wheel driven unlike many other Japanese cars in the same price range at the time which were front-wheel drive and lacked the steering capabilities of the 240SX.
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle was that it just did not have the engine of a true sports car. The engine was downgraded from the turbocharged 2.0L dual overhead camshaft SR20DET to the comparatively weak naturally aspirate d2.4L single overhead camshaft KA24DE engine when it was brought to the U.S. Market from Japan. In essence, it has all the bark of its Japanese domestic market sibling but without the bite.
