Overall, the MINI is a fun car to drive. Super low to the ground and the wide wheel base make it a kick to drive in town. Amazing acceleration (especially with a manual transmission) and high speed makes it fun to drive on freeways and highways. Overall though, for my situation, the amount of maintenance it needs and how much that maintenance costs takes precedence over the driving experience. If you are a "car person," it's likely that the extra work and care one needs to put in would not deter you, but for someone with very little mechanical background, it was just a hassle.
Story
A car backed into me, and I couldn't drive the MINI for a couple weeks while it was getting repaired. When I finally got it back, I hopped on the freeway and (stupidly) sped down easily going >100 mph. Stupid... but fun.
Pros
Amazing handling and super fun to drive. Love the look and design. More spacious than you'd imagine looking at it from the outside. Very forgiving clutch.
Cons
Incredibly expensive to take care of due to custom parts and licensed mechanics. Needs a lot of attention. Can't go on long road trips and such when you need a decent amount of space, although this should be expected considering it's a MINI.

This is a great car it was like driving a bullet, it just looks great and aerodynamic. This car really performed great I had it for over 4 years and this car never really gave me any problems and it was one of the funnest cars that I have ever drove. This car is perfect for driving in roads with lots of turns. It is a really fun car.
Story
A fun story that i had with this car was driving on the California 1 highway through Big Sur. It was really fun as it was a road with lots of sharp turns.
Pros
One of the pros of this car is that it runs really good never really gave me a problem. I also really loved the size of it when it comes to parking and moving around in the city. It is the best because you can fit anywhere. I also like the car's overall comfort.
Cons
The biggest con for me would be the storage in the car. You can't really take anything with you, my golf bag barely fits in the car and then I can't fit anyone in back of my car.

The salespeople really knew their product, especially our rep named Richard. He brought the best car for us first, but only after carefully listening to our needs. Richard and his crew made sure we understood how to operate the car and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the car.
