This Mini is different from the other Minis on the market as it only has two seats. It is sporty and sleek, and has been designed to provide the most fun you can have on four wheels! The practical point, if we have to go there, is the gas mileage. 36 mpg on the open road. For the not so practical aspects we have the ease of getting around in traffic and the sleek looks, the sporty interior which is designed around the original Mini. The large clock face, the sports seats, not to mention the amazing sound system with eight speakers, yes, I said EIGHT speakers! The trunk has enough room for a family of four's weekly groceries. It is a sports car but it's still a Mini.
Story
The most fun I have in my traffic driven city is darting in and out. The get up and go this Mini has is incredible. And it's just so fun to drive.
Pros
The pros are the sports seats, the MPGs, the large trunk, the cuteness factor, the sound system, the design overall, it holds its value well, and it's just fun all around. It actually drives like a sports car without the higher insurance costs.
Cons
The cons are the cost of buying one, the outside noise comes right on in, the repair costs are astronomical once the warranty runs out (which is when most things break down), the run flat tires can run you up to $300 per tire, the battery is $300. So, keep that in mind when looking at any Mini.

2014 MINI Cooper - If I could choose another vehicle, I would.

My 2014 Mini Cooper S was the first car I purchased on my own. I bought it from a private owner. The miles on the car did not exceed 100,000, and there was minimum scratches. Overall, I like the car. It met my budget and was exactly the color I wanted (red). Helped me get back and forth from work; however, since I will be attending college in another area in 2018. I need something more reliable, and I don't trust such a small vehicle in heavy traffic. So I plan on getting something that I think would be safer.
Story
It was like the first car I bought on my own so just registering the car in my name was a very "adult" experience for me, so I was very happy that day.
Pros
I really liked the price, color, fuel efficiency, and how easy it is to drive. Mini Coopers are really beautiful cars.
Cons
The Mini Cooper doesn't provide a lot of leg room or trunk room. So, I can't really have a lot of my friends in the car or buy anything large because it won't fit. My boyfriend is 6 ft. 3" and is very uncomfortable for him to ride in. It is also very expensive to fix.

I didn't feel like I was working with the "typical" car salesman. He wasn't pushy. He seemed honest. He spent as much time as I wanted test driving multiple cars. And he didn't play games when it came to negotiating a price.
