2010 MINI Cooper - Fun car to drive. Repairs are costly.

This little car has great miles per gallon. I'd typically get about 25 miles per gallon on the highway. It's a spunky little car with lots of "pep." Definitely a unique car to drive around. What it looks in room, it makes up for with a "cool factor" and smooth ride. Acceleration is great. Steering responsiveness makes this car very easy to handle and maneuver.
Story
I once had to park in a very tight parallel-parking space. I wasn't quite able to maneuver all the way in. Three pedestrians stopped at my car, picked up the back end, and helped move it into place alongside the curb. It's compact enough that moving it by hand is an option with just a couple pairs of extra hands!
Pros
Amazing acceleration, great MPG, sporty look and sporty feel. Once you buy a MINI Cooper, you might find that other MINI Cooper owners wave at you as you pass each other on the road. This was definitely one of my favorite perks. It's like you're accepted into a secret community once you purchase one!
Cons
Repairs are costly, since it is a European car. Some of the MINI coopers in the 2010 range are prone to timing chain issues which can be a very costly repair if it breaks.

I love the fact that my mini gets the best mileage as well as her get up and go. The amount of times that my partner and I have decided to take a day trip, pack up and go on the drop of the dime (for a dime) is what has made this car priceless. The seats are comfy and easily maneuverable.
Story
Laying out by the beach with the trunk open. We have also been able to go down to some of the local sales on the weekend and pick up pieces of furniture which we've flipped into new pieces and used the mini to transport it. It fit perfectly well and surprised the both of us with how easy it was to put in.
Pros
Size of the vehicle and the fact that no matter where you go, no matter what city, no matter how trying the times, you will always be able to find a parking space.
Cons
Braking of the back door raisers.

They had a lot of options. They have a huge lot. I got to look at a few different options before I made my choice. So I really felt that I actually got the car that I wanted. I was able to use the process of elimination to zero down to the car that I truly wanted. Also, the employees are awesome. They were not regular salesman. They didn't push anything, they actually worked out the best deal for me. Also, since I have good credit and a steady job, I didn't have to put much down on the car. They really worked with me.
