I think that the Mini Cooper S 2006 model is an amazing car that anyone would enjoy owning. It's a compact car and it's very stylish in its appearance in comparison to most cars on the road. There's a certain personality to owning this vehicle and it will certainly save garage space as well as gas money. Owning this vehicle, you can feel the durability of its build and the practicality of its uses. If you go to the beach or if you drive around urban cities often, this car will open up more parking spaces for you and provide fun memories when you go to the beach.
Story
I used this car when driving around Los Angeles to a TV Taping in Warner Bros. Studios and it was great finding compact parking spaces. My friends loved how fast this car can go on the highway as well.
Pros
This is a very economic car to drive so it's easy on gas money. In addition to being economic and compact, there's personality to any Mini Cooper on the road. The car is yours and everyone can see, too.
Cons
This car doesn't boast a lot of space so it's difficult trying to get things inside of the car or taking along more than 4 passengers. However economic it is on gas, you have to fill it with 91 grade gasoline which is a bit more pricey than standard 87 grade gas.

Overall, the MINI is a fun car to drive. Super low to the ground and the wide wheel base make it a kick to drive in town. Amazing acceleration (especially with a manual transmission) and high speed makes it fun to drive on freeways and highways. Overall though, for my situation, the amount of maintenance it needs and how much that maintenance costs takes precedence over the driving experience. If you are a "car person," it's likely that the extra work and care one needs to put in would not deter you, but for someone with very little mechanical background, it was just a hassle.
Story
A car backed into me, and I couldn't drive the MINI for a couple weeks while it was getting repaired. When I finally got it back, I hopped on the freeway and (stupidly) sped down easily going >100 mph. Stupid... but fun.
Pros
Amazing handling and super fun to drive. Love the look and design. More spacious than you'd imagine looking at it from the outside. Very forgiving clutch.
Cons
Incredibly expensive to take care of due to custom parts and licensed mechanics. Needs a lot of attention. Can't go on long road trips and such when you need a decent amount of space, although this should be expected considering it's a MINI.

This dealership is NOT the best. They buy their cars from auctions and do not inspect them, and then turn around and sell them for more money than they're worth, with many mechanical problems.

This dealership was so great because of the quality service and the standard that they set for their dealers to meet. I felt like I was well informed and not rushed to buy the most expensive car on the lot, I was surprisingly at ease with my experience, and everyone was friendly.
