The Mini Cooper is a great car as a first car. It is small and compact. It is a perfect car with nice horsepower and a sport button for the empty roads. The convertible has nice adjustable seats. The technology on the car is great. The car shows you whatever is wrong with it. If you need an oil change, it will warn you before you are completely out of oil. The tires are fantastic as they do not deflate completely. They are run flat tires, which are great in emergencies. The sound system of the car is excellent. The car performs like a dream. It is a small but mighty speed demon. The Mini Cooper works amazingly on the on the curbs with great control. This car only uses high quality gasoline. It is worth the price. The engine is smooth. I enjoy driving this car on the highways with the t... (more)
Story
I took my car to the beach with my friends. The highway was completely empty at the time I was driving to the beach. There were no police cars either. I pressed on the accelerator and drove 100 mph. It was a once in a lifetime thing that I will never do again, but it was very fun.
Pros
My favorite is that the Mini Cooper that I own is a convertible. It comes in a variety of fun colors that fit anyone's personality. You can customize the car to your liking more than you can do so on car from other brands. It is small, which is great as it fits anywhere, and U-turns are easily done in this car whenever you are lost.
Cons
The negative would be the price for repairs since it is a foreign brand. The car is to be handled with a lot of care as it is delicate.

My Mini Cooper S convertible is a small economy car that is known for its speed, extreme drifting, and unique look. Their popularity has surged because of their unique look and their race car-like quality. It truly goes 0-60 in a few seconds. They are just fun to drive, the turbo makes a heavy growling sound that lets you know its a serious car when you press the pedal. They are very affordable cars, and for about 20K, you can get most of luxuries like leather, automatic, heated seats, sunroof, etc. On the flip side, mechanical work on the Minis is expensive. Most of the body parts are made of plastic, and they break easily and you might end up buying chrome color plastic parts that run $50 and up. Obviously, it's a small car so if you have a longer commute to work, I wouldn't recommen... (more)
Story
First time when I bought it all four of us squeezed in it, and we went for a ride with top down and it was fun.
Pros
Fun to drive, economical in gas, affordable to own, handles like a sports car and extremely unique looking car that turns heads.
Cons
Expensive to maintain, not a lot of legroom, most of the body parts are plastic and they crack.

I really enjoyed my Mini Cooper convertible. It was my first convertible, and it was a blast to drive around. I was hesitant at first due to there not being a roll bar. I thought it would be unsafe to drive. Yet after the first few months, I let these feelings go. The Mini Cooper never felt unsafe to drive, whether the top was down or not. The gas mileage it got was a little lower than what I was told I would get. I am usually a very considerate driver, so I don't burn through gas really fast. I think overall it was a very good car, but it did have its problems. There was some engine trouble early on, and it being a foreign car, the parts and maintenance were usually much more expensive. Due to this fact, I usually replaced most of the parts myself.
Story
It is always hot in Georgia during the summer, but the first time I drove my car with the top down, was an amazing experience.
Pros
The car is very fun to drive. The convertible aspect made it even more fun, especially during the summer heat. The interior was cool, and the details were very nice. The speedometer in the middle of the console was a feature that I liked.
Cons
There was some engine trouble that I had when I first purchased the car. The main belt would make an awful screeching noise, and we had to replace the water pump. At one point before I sold it, the convertible top would not securely lock into place.
