I liked this car. I purchased it, and it has nice tints. It is also all-wheel drive which is great for living in an East Coast city where you get every season. I've had little issues in my three years of owning this vehicle. It is a great drive. Decent sound system. No aux cord which sucks. The leather is starting to crack which I think is premature for a vehicle only made in 2006. It also has issue with the tire air sensor. The stylish tail lights are a plus. No engine issues so far either which is great. All electric everything. The pedals can be adjusted up and down which is a nice feature. It has a nice sun roof, and it also came with real rims instead of the basic ones some cars come with.
Story
It snowed really, really bad here one time, and I had just purchased the vehicle, and I wanted to test out the all-wheel drive and how the SUV handled. I drove it around and slide around in the ice and snow.
Pros
I love the sun roof. It is great for the summer time. I love that it is a large vehicle but not too large to park in an East coast city area. I love the stylish tail lights. I love that it came with already tinted windows. I like that the pedals were adjustable. I like that it's all-wheel drive, so I can drive in any type of weather. I like that it's spacious enough to fit all my work tools into. It is large enough to fit quite a few people into.
Cons
It had to have an alternator replaced fairly quickly after being purchased. Battery had to be replaced. It has a hard time catching the reverse gear sometimes. It sometimes slips gears. There is no aux cord outlet. Not a whole lot of interior features.

2006 Mercury Mountaineer - Mercury Mountaineer still going strong!

This Mountaineer handles really well for being such a big vehicle. I like the three row seating and it's very comfortable to ride in. My family and I only use this car. You can lay the seats down for hauling some items. We attached a hitch to it and it is strong enough to tow some things. The radio is nice and it has a plentiful amount of cup holders. Considering the amount of miles that we have put on the car, it has had very many mechanical issues. I think this car has provided a soild vehicle for me and my family.
Story
Me and my family we took this car a football game. And it was fun.
Pros
Handling, comfort.
Cons
Air conditioning.
