1990 Mercury Topaz - Great when new, very poor performance after 2 years.

I own a light blue Mercury Topaz GS model and when I first got this car I was so happy, It was my first car and the insurance coverage was really low due to its age but it ran great for the first 2 years I had it. It's easy to drive and has great gas mileage for an old car in my opinion, I can make a 2 hour trip on half a tank.
Story
A huge tree branch fell on top of my car and there are minimal dents in the roof and on the driver door.
Pros
Great gas mileage, although I'm not sure of the number but it doesn't use as much as other cars my friends have had. The paint is still reasonably good in some areas, even though it doesn't have the new car shine like newer models retain after some years. Cruise control and the gear shift are in great places. Seats are comfortable cloth, leather can get too hot in the summer, and they retain heat better in the winter.
Cons
The door seals could be better. Air and water has been known to get into the car while driving and when stopped, problem went unchanged after tree branch incident. There is not one cup holder in the car. The temperature features can't be used together like, panel vents and defrost, it's either or situation. Hard to find replacement parts that fit just right. Some universal parts work but don't last as long as the original part for the car. Only one defrost panel on the front windshield in the middle of the glass and it takes a long time to defrost on max level even.

1992 Mercury Topaz - Ugly uncomfortable car

After my first car bit the dust, I needed to find a replacement pretty rapidly. The car that fit into my budget at that time was a 1992 powder blue Mercury Topaz (Ford Tempo). While it was a functional car, it was not a pleasant one. The driver's seat was too cramped even at it's furthest settings and the backseat was also too cramped. The speedometer topped out at 85 MPH, making it look like you were ready to bury the needle at normal interstate speeds. Mechanically the car was sound enough, but it was a very low performance car and a very boring one at that.
Story
Overall, this was a fairly dull car. It helped me make two moves across my state, but other than that I lack any significant stories.
Pros
This particular Mercury Topaz came with a fully automatic driver's seat, as well as automatic windows, and despite being roughly 15 years old when I purchased it, these features never gave out in the 3 years I owned the vehicle. Gas mileage was alright, but nothing amazing. Repairs were affordable and easy.
Cons
Having owned several four cylinder cars, I can attest that this one's lack of power is not due to that. It lacked the acceleration and engine capability of any other car I've owned. The color was hideous, and the interior was overall too cramped of a space.

1993 Mercury Topaz - Dependable small car

Overall, it's a great car. It's had very few problems and requires only basic maintenance to keep running. It's twenty years old and still runs like a beast.
Story
I used to use the car to deliver pizzas, but that's about it.
Pros
I like its small size and that it has a smaller gas tank. I feel like it saves me money at the gas pump because I don't have to fill up very often and when I do it doesn't cost very much. The car handles really well and is easy to control in situations like bad weather, etc. It gets me where I need to go in a jiffy though, and I have never had a problem with it other than basic maintenance since I've had it.
Cons
It doesn't accelerate very quickly and sometimes I get passed by other vehicles because I can't get up to speed fast enough. Sometimes if the wind is high enough, the car has trouble and gets buffed back and forth because it's smaller and doesn't weigh as much. It also doesn't have four-wheel drive. It also only has one cup holder which is very inconveniently placed.
