I really liked the appearance of the vehicle. That is what originally drew myself and my wife to the car. It was a status symbol, and we were young and doing well and wanted a nice vehicle. The size worked for us. We were trying to have a child and wanted to have some room for a baby, our dog, and groceries. The outside of the car was very attractive, and the ride was smooth and luxurious. The air conditioning and heat were powerful, and it was very comfortable.
Story
I brought my first child home from the hospital in this vehicle and also purchased a home.
Pros
The drive was very smooth and luxurious. The visibility out of the windshield was very clear and expansive. It had very comfortable seats, and the heated seats worked very well. The fit and finish of the car was superb.
Cons
The options for Mercedes are disappointing. You have to shell out a ton of money to get the features that come stock on other vehicles. This is a premium vehicle. Everything shouldn't be a la cart. Also, maintenance was very expensive, for everything. Even to replace a simple air filter, you needed to buy a special screw driver.

Worst car purchase I have ever made in my life. Bought a three year old of lease ML350 with 48,000 miles on it. From the very beginning, I have had issues with it. Had to take it to the dealership multiple times to fix an oil drip. Each time, three total, it was for a different reason. Then it was having trouble igniting. This was $1,100 fix.
Story
I entered a drawing while waiting at the dealer getting my car fixed and ended up winning a TV.
Pros
The car gets good mileage and is comfortable to drive when it is kept up.
Cons
Expensive to maintain. Frequent mechanical issues. Entertainment console provides a terrible user interface. Aux cable is hard to access.
