Mercedes-Benz CLS Owner Ratings & Reviews

2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS - I love my car!
The design is sleek with the shotgun windows and lower profile. It has been extremely reliable with very few maintenance issues. The interior is tan leather with very comfortable seats. I love that the seats have a heat and cool feature. The car seats four large people easily. The back seats do not provide access to the trunk which I dislike. Each person can control the temperature for their seating area. It has a feature that allows you to change the suspension for a comfortable drive or a more sporty drive. It is keyless entry and you start the car with a button on the gear shift which I love so I can keep my keys in my purse. It has a V8 with 382 horsepower and gets pretty decent gas mileage. The navigation system is rather dated and the voice recognition is not the best. I haven't ... (more)
Story
I am constantly getting compliments on the car. I have one particularly pretentious colleague who was snotty to me until he saw my car. Now he wants to be my best friend.
Pros
The top five positive things are: reliability, comfort, stylish appearance, decent gas mileage, and performance.
Cons
The top negative things are: not so user friendly navigation system, no access to the trunk from the inside, and price of repairs.
2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS - Phenomenal luxury
This vehicle has, in my option, some of the best styling of any vehicle on the market. I consider it to be timeless and like the styling even better than the newer generation. However, the characteristic that convinced me to purchase the vehicle was the ride. It is smooth and quiet on the freeway. It has great power off the line and on the freeway. It is powerful without being overwhelming and has a good balance between handling and comfort. The interior is beautiful, as well. The quality of the materials are very good, and it has real leather throughout, including the dash. The seats are some of the most comfortable of any car I have driven, and I am a sales manager at my family's dealership. Highly recommend the car.
Story
Enjoyed picking up my friends when I first purchased the vehicle. I was very impressed with it and they were as well.
Pros
Pros for the vehicle are incredible style, comfort, power, high-quality materials, balance of comfort and sportiness. It is a joy to drive.
Cons
Cons for the vehicle would be typical German car electronics quality, which can sometimes be substandard. Issues include power windows and locks losing programing and navigation system not functioning properly, having an aux battery for certain functions and not starting a few times for no apparent reason. Also, the user interfaces are difficult to navigate. A/C doesn't cool particularly quickly. Also, pulls slightly to the right, even after alignment.
2004 Mercedes-Benz CLS - It's a good car
I like the look of the car and how smooth and clean it is! The leather seats and everything are automatic and easy to figure out.
Story
Driving around in a summery day on the long beach in ny was amazing feeling
Pros
The classy look and the brand, the leather seats, heating seats, real wood interior, the open ceiling.
Cons
I hated that the car needed to be fixed so often! It's not good in the rain or snow because it will start slipping and you won't have control of it! I feel scared to drive it in the winter honestly! It's just good in summer and spring days, not rainy days.
