This is my first car, my only car, and will continue to be for a while because I am satisfied with my purchase decision. I purchased the car used from original owner and now it has nearly 200000 miles on it. I have done some major maintenance work on it, including ac repair, replacing small parts, transmission overhaul fuel pump replacement, and other small maintenance tasks. These are typical of almost all Mercedes of this age and mileage. Very good gas mileage for a V6 of this era, 26+ mpg highway, yet still can get 0 to 60 in almost 6 seconds. Just old enough to have a classic look, but new enough that it has most modern comfort features one would expect in a new car today. I once fit seven people in this four person coupe in a ride emergency-not recommended but doable.

Pass-through folding rear seats auto adjust seats auto adjust mirrors modern stereo (optional) Bose speaker system (standard) aluminum alloy wheels (standard) electric rear window shade easy maintenance never has engine trouble, it's always something else. (Usually self diagnoses as well) comfortable leather seats moon roof (coupe version) timing chain lasts the life of the engine, never replace a timing belt
Cons
Premium gas only four seats only slight road noise known for numerous wiring issues with age
