The 2020 CLA is the second generation of Mercedes’ compact four-door car that mimics larger sporty coupes, but with the benefit of two additional doors and a lower starting price. It competes most directly with compact four-door sedans including the Acura ILX, Audi A3, Cadillac CT4, Mercedes’ own A-Class sedan, as well as the two-door BMW 2 Series Coupe and upcoming four-door BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.
