This car is a great all arounder. It's sporty but seats four. It has a variety of different driving modes, ranging from economy to sports plus. So it can be a sports car or a family one. It looks great, but the real standout is the interior, which is really quite high-end. The Burmeister audio option adds a lot to appearance too (the speakers are in a beautifully cast aluminum) along with its sound.
Story
I like to drive in NYC. When I'm stuck in traffic, especially during the summer, I like to roll down the windows and blast the music. It turns more than a few heads and more than a few of those aforementioned heads are moving to the beat.
Pros
The interior. The material are very rich and bespoke looking. The vents are aluminum, and that really stands out next to a black interior. This is where one spends all their time when driving, and passengers never fail to notice in my experience. The car is fast and agile and really represents a step up from the old c-class. In sports plus mode, the shifts are very fast, and it revs like a Porsche, except it's reliable like a Mercedes.
Cons
You can get a car with better specs at a cheaper price if you want. So you pay a premium for a Mercedes. But that premium give you build quality, reliability, and appearance that you cannot find in lesser expensive cars, even if they have bigger, more powerful engines.

I've had a few Mercedes. But I bought this one after selling an E class. I also have the 2019 version of this, but this is a review of the 2016. They are both from the same platform so the differences are really marginal. But the big difference is from the previous platform. As I mentioned, I sold an e-class before getting this one, and I would say that this c-class is the equivalent of the E-class of yore. In size and in luxury, this is no longer an entry-level Merc.
Story
I was pulled over once, and the cop really liked the interior. We talked about cars, and he knocked me down 10mph so the ticket was easier to beat.
Pros
The interiors are special. The materials are rich and bespoke. I have black leather contrasted to aluminum. It's a real standout. One has to go all the way up to Bentley in order to beat it.
Cons
I guess the price. These days you can get the same amount of power for much less. I think the car may be a tad high also, for those who like sports cars.
