2010 Mazda Tribute Owner Ratings & Reviews

2010 Mazda Tribute - A great first car.
I absolutely love this car. It was my first car that I got in high school. I purchased it with a rather high mileage already, but it has held up well to my commuting. I have had to repair the air conditioning and a portion of an axle, but nothing major for an almost ten year old car. The seats are very comfortable and the back row and trunk are spacious.
Story
Three other people in my school all had the same car and we always parked next to each other. I would sometimes go to the wrong car after class which was funny. We also all shared little tricks about how to use the dashboard.
Pros
1. It is a very pretty car 2. It is easy to maneuver and park 3. It has very comfortable and spacious seats 4. It is very affordable especially for the size of the car. 5. It is big enough to be useful to families or if you need to move things.
Cons
It sometimes stalls for a split second if you accelerate too quickly. It tends to vibrate while it idles. The air conditioning broke and was expensive to fix. There have been issues with the tire pressure sensors. The paint on one handle is beginning to peel off.
2010 Mazda Tribute - Great compact SUV!
I love the look of my Mazda Tribute. It has a slightly boxy design, but is still sleek as well. It is very comfortable to ride in and has great gas mileage for an SUV. I usually get around 28-30 miles to a gallon. The electronics inside are easy to operate and in a good location. Easy to find what you need. It has 2 separate lighters so I can plug in my phone charger and my GPS at the same time.
Story
We got this SUV a few days after our daughter was born specifically for her. There wasn't enough room in my previous car. So every year on her birthday is another year we've owned this car.
Pros
Great gas mileage; appearance; cargo net in trunk; LATCH system for my daughter's car seat; smooth ride; easy maintenance; no gas cap on the gas tank makes filing up even faster; keyless entry; automatic windows and locks; nice interior; adjustable steering wheel for comfort of the driver; 4 cupholders
Cons
If you are a tall person this SUV may be too compact for you. It is roomy for me because I am short, but my husband has a harder time fitting in it. The tire air detector light is always coming on, even if the tires do not need air. We had one issue with the throttle body having to be totally replaced, which the mechanic told us was a known issue with this vehicle, but was not mentioned to us when we bought it.
