My Mazda tribute is a reliable car. I haven't had any major problems with it, and I always feel safe when driving. I have had this car for eight years, and one of my favorite things about it is how easy it is to park places. I also have not had any electronic problems since I owned the car. I used the car to tow a trailer when I moved to my new apartment, and I had no issues with the towing process. The car felt sturdy and safe.
Story
I used this car to take my friends to the beach, and it was easy to back everything in the backseat. Because the seats were not made out of a cloth material, it was also easy to clean up the sand from the car when we were done.
Pros
There is lots of space in the trunk of the car, and I have even used it to store extra appliances that do not fit in my apartment. This is my favorite feature because it is perfect for when I want to go to the beach and I have to store a lot of supplies in the back. There are also plenty of cup holders in the car and a lot of legroom in the back seat, which is nice for long car drives. It is an easy car to take anywhere and park anywhere. The steering is easy, and I have had to replace the breaks less then I have with other cars. The seats of the car are not cloth, so I like how I don't ha... (more)
Cons
The light that indicates that the door is ajar turns off and on randomly. I went to get it fixed, but at that time, the light was behaving properly and they couldn't find a problem. The car also doesn't have a place for an aux cord, which is unfortunate. I also had an issue with the rubber strip on the top of the car pealing off at the carwash.

2004 Mazda Tribute - Great, basic SUV.

This car is a perfect starter car or SUV. It is durable on the country back roads that I take everyday to work. It's decent on mileage, and there is more than enough room for myself and four other people. I currently use it to go to and from work. However, it was and will be used after I purchase my own car to haul our dogs around in, because the seats fold down giving them the room they need. The material on the outside does feel a little cheap, and it's not the prettiest out of these other luxury SUV, but then again, it's not luxury.
Story
This is the first car I have had after moving home to Texas and snagging a job. Before that, I was without a car, and so I am very grateful to be able to use this car. It was my stepdad's before, and he took very good care of it. I will never forget that this car has taken me to the job that is taking me places further in my life like saving for my own car.
Pros
I love that it has a lot of room for me to store groceries, as I live in the middle of nowhere, and when we restock for groceries, we have to purchase a lot. We can't do that in our sedan. I also love how durable it is and how easy on gas it is.
Cons
I think the parts are a little cheap looking and feeling. But like I mentioned before, it is durable, so that's okay. I do wish it were a little bit of a smoother ride too.
