The sporty test drive on a curvy road told me everything I wanted to know - whether there was joy in the experience, and there was. The RX-8 has 4 seats, with suicide-style rear doors, and being a passenger in the back seat is no problem for an average-sized person. There was better view ability out the back windows versus other sporty vehicles I tested, a nice stereo system, cruise control for long drives, traction control to minimize wheel spin on slippery surfaces. Plus the car looks good and I loved the red color of the one I picked. But best of all it has a rotary engine, so a smooth power curve and less banging in the engine bay.
Story
When the car was brand new in year one of it's release, it was a head-turner on it's maiden voyage on a cruise around the Lake.
Pros
The car handles curves in a fun and sporty way, it's really fun to drive.
Cons
Gas mileage around town is under 20 mpg and it uses High Octane which costs more per fill-up. Also, you have to keep on top of checking the oil level, since the rotary engine uses motor oil faster than a piston engine.

It is a fun car to drive. It handles very well. It is a very attractive vehicle. It is comfortable. The included options (navigation, etc) are very nice.
Story
I had a fun trip driving down the coastline. With the windows down and sunroof open it felt nice.

The looks of the RX-8 are amazing. They have people staring all the time. I don't know how many times I have had people comment on the car and how it looks and sounds. The car is also very comfortable. It keeps the driver engaged with multifunctional seating and lumbar support as well as a sporty steering wheel to make the car's over-the-top amazing handling all that much better. The build quality of the RX-8 is rather good. The engines are peppy in mid range temperatures and like to hit high screaming RPM's quickly and efficiently when needed.
Story
My most fun memorable moment is first taking this card to a drag track. It allows me to really test the engine. Have i mentioned that this card DOES NOT over rev? It has a really high RPM
Pros
This car is very cheap, because people underestimate the rotary engine and the whole car really. You can pick these up for good prices. It's a very very stylish car with a great interior. This is very very fast. It comes with about 220HP factory.
Cons
It gets low gas mileage of approximately 14mpg street, 20 mpg for highway. Not a big trunk- the trunk is nice for groceries in there, but it's not good for packing stuff for camping trips. Maintenance - it requires a slight bit more maintenance than other cars, and you don't have the privilege of waiting on anything. Like Hondas, if you skip an oil change, it might really mess up an RX-8.
